Had used all practice sessions so went with 3 tokens for each driver for ideal setup. During race, rain level remained at 3.8mm (had spectated another league before our race started and it was 3.8mm there too)

Ideal setup gave me low 20's for ride height (and not 30ish as I would have expected for that amount of water) wing was also less than expected.

During the race I was dropping back from teams I normally run with even though I was on a lower fuel load which leaves me to believe I was on a wrong setup.

What I think happened is the ideal setup gave me something which was suitable for less than 3mm instead of more than 3.5mm

To pre-empt the obvious, yes I was running new engines on fully repaired cars.

At Monaco the same thing happened to me, but every site I looked up was saying dry in Monte Carlo, only the game and weather underground said it was raining.

I'll try to test this for a race I have tonight. At the moment, it's 3 AM so it'll be a while to hear my results :)

IB, I looked your drivers and they would get ride heights between 20 - 22.
As you said during race, you set 18, so there's something wrong...

Gustavo, It could just be my drivers having a bad day if yours were around 20-22? (one of my drivers is constantly -2 height from the other)

The way I understand it, if the track is wet enough for inters then height is roughly dry +12. If it's very wet then dry +24.

Whether there really is an issue depends on the threshold of wet/very wet setups. If it's higher than 3.8 then there isn't a problem.

I tested the ideal setup on a test account and compared it to my primary account (both in the same league, different tier).

The test account's ride height and wing level had values which were opposite that of my primary account's car setups.

e.g. Ride Height - 9, Wing Level - 11/12 on my test account, but on my primary account the values were flipped to 11/12 and 9.

@IB, just about "wet setup" and "very wet setup".
They exist and I have "wet setups" for all races written in a spreadsheet and some of "very wet setups".
What I've observed is that when Wunderground shows Thunderstorms or Snow for a place, wet setup will be "very wet setup", and when it's just raining (in Wunderground site) it will be "wet setup".
So, no matters if a thunderstorm just started and track isn't even wet, the setup will be "very wet setup".

@Yunus, unfortunately your drivers in your alternative account can't tell us good setups, they're just level 2.

Not sure which account you're talking about, I've got many test accounts. I've tested with a level 18 account...but the drivers are level 8...which is good enough to get the correct, ideal setup, I believe, as they had the same set up for Monza as I did on this primary account.

Low level "driving ability" drivers will ask more wing level. I think Italy isn't a good place to see that, because it's 1 for almost everybody.

Edit: I thought It was this team: test 1
