Hi Andrew
I joined the league last night in the Rookie tier and I'm very impressed with how well it's run, so well done. However I'm a bit confused with the parts penalty idea? Is to do with your next season parts or with your current season parts?
Thanks, Matt

Thank you Matt. I will send you a pm

Winners from season 37.
In Rookie, Mark Hatch won both titles & Cam Graves is also promoted.
In Pro, Stan Vapuella won both titles & Dan Stevens is also promoted.
In Elite, I forget who won, someone with identity issues. Jason Lee took the other 100 ranking points

The 80% rule for all tiers
At the start of the season:
< = 80% car development = no penalty
> 80% but <=87% = 6 race penalty
> 87% but <=94% = 12 race penalty
> 94% = the whole season
The rule for people joining part way through the season in Rookie & Pro:
This is an extension of the 80% rule using a sliding scale of 2% per race.
For example, someone joins after Bahrain, which is 4 races into the season, the threshold increases by 4 times the 2%.
< =88% = no penalty
> 88% but <=95% = 6 race penalty
> 95% = 12 race penalty or until the end of the season, whichever is soonest.
For people joining in Elite:
This is a 70% threshold & applies for the season they join, with a 2% sliding scale & for the start of the following season.
If someone joins Elite before the start of the season or at the start of their 2nd season:
< =70% = no penalty
> 70% but <=80% = 6 race penalty
> 80% but <= 90% = 12 race penalty
> 90% = the whole season
For example someone joins after Monaco, which is the 6th race of the season, so the threshold is 70% + 6 times the 2% = 82%. So:
< =82% no penalty
> 82% but <=92% = 6 race penalty
> 92% = 12 race penalty or until the end of the season, whichever is soonest.
The Penalty
The team manager will be required to change their suppliers away from the optimal for the duration of the penalty. The new suppliers will be chosen by the league host.
All of the figures will be the average of the 7 parts for the car.
Other Rules
Managers will be removed after 7 days of inactivity. If you know you are going to be absent for 7 days or more, please tell me.
You are expected to take part in the races. Managers who are active but not racing will be removed immediately
You may only have 1 team per tier
You will show respect for your fellow Managers & will mind your language
You may not shuffle your teams in & out of a tier, without a gap of 5 races
You may only control the cars in your own team. You may not share your login details & have another player controlling your cars
The 15 minute rule will apply to all races which do not start on time or are interrupted by a system issue that affects all managers in the race.
In the event that there is an interruption to the service either during or before a race, the league host will post on the league page that the 15 minutes has started, together with the time it started. If the race starts or restarts within 15 minutes, we will carry on with the race. If the race does not start or restart within 15 minutes, the league host will request a complete reset & a postponement of the race until the next allotted race time, (in our case the next day)
Please direct your questions to me.

We have places in Rookie & Pro.
We are one of the most competitive leagues, so if you want to race with some of the best in Elite, you could promote from Pro & try your luck

For any one who isn't too sure about entering:
I'm in the rookie tier and the group of perople racing is fantastic.
We all love racing and there's the best possible mix of competition and fun.
So enter as soon as you can.

Charles Teel medal 5000 11 years 61 days ago
I don't have Martin's experience racing in other leagues to compare this one with, but I echo his thoughts on the Rookie Tier having some wonderful people racing in it. We chuckle at, make fun of, and cheer each other on. Not a bad attitude in the lot. A mix of managers from old dogs to a few of us new pups.
Come join us!
Rookie - 4 spots open
Pro - 2 spots open

I am currently in a 4 team Pro league but the race only ever seems to be between 2 of us.
We have 2 more races (17th and 18th) so I will be looking to join at the start of the next season - I believe it's the 20th?
I've done 50% and 75% races so 100% is the next step, right?
Only downside is I do shift work so will probably miss about 6 races per season but it looks like the other races will make up for it.
