We had many an umbrella out here in Brazil but not for the rain, but for the shade from the searing heat. The track and air temp were so high that it played havoc with everyone's tires, but still a race had to be run and won. For Jaguar in our Rookie Division they battled hard with both the elements and WI Racing for the win, but win they did with a very well deserved 1st and 2nd place, WI Racing held on for 3rd and 4th.

Gravitas had a new challenger today as Pied Piper were able to drive through the field to be battling it out for 5th place. However gravitas did get the 5th position with Pied Piper taking 6th and 7th. But a small mistake from the second Gravitas driver in the closing stages of the race saw them drop from 8th to 9th behind an RJT car. Audi were able to pick up the remaining points position.

Behind the points we found a good battle with RJT, Schwinesteiger and Audi. The second RJT driver was able to pick up 11th, with Schwinesteiger taking 12th and 14th, flanking the second Audi in 13th. BMW could only follow this group to finish 15th and 16th.

Our next battle was for pride more than anything, the great rivalry that we have been seeing with Blue Angels II, Chemql and Pandaslo have been a good focal point in many races. Blue Angels II had the better bragging rights as they took 17th and 20th. Pandaslo finished 18th and 22nd with Chemql taking the 19th and 21st slots.

TGI Motorsports were the only other team barring BMW that was able to stay out of a battle, they take 23rd and 24th. At the very back of the field it was a battle with the rest of the teams. No one wanted the last positions, but inevitably someone would. TB Racing came off the better of the remaining teams as they cross the line for 25th and 27th places, Royal took 26th and 31st. Ghostdragon had a good run to stay in the middle of this group for 28th and 29th, but it was poor Maclaren that took the unwanted last place with 30th and 32nd.

Hopsocube were able to once again dominate the rest of the field by taking 1st and 2nd by 29 seconds before we found 3rd crossing the line. However behind the leading team were a whole host of cars chasing and racing each other for the better points. It was coming to the end of the season and every single teams wanted the best result they could possibly get.

Every pair of eyes were on this group in the Pro Division because it did not just comprise of one or two teams, but five teams were battling hard in the points. Aston Martin, Benfica, BMR Racing, Laguna and Puputan were the teams inside this group, but it would be Laguna that was joining the podium celebrations. Benfica took 4th, Aston Martin taking 5th as they cross the line only half a car length behind Benfica. BMR took 6th, Benfica 7th, BMR 8th, Puputan 9th and Laguna rounding off the points in 10th leaving the second Aston Martin in 11th while the remaining Puputan took 12th.

Carroll GP and SL Racing could only watch from afar as Carroll took 13th and 14th, SL Racing took 15th and 16th. It just goes to show just how much these drivers and their teams really want the best result for their managers, even at this late a stage when most teams are thinking about next season.

Elite was a tough affair for some teams, tires that wouldn't work, engines that just would not cool down in the heat, but it made for great racing. Notahc were able to hold on for the top spots, 1st and 2nd, with SLB close behind in 3rd and 4th. Cruz Crew struggled in 5th and 6th while behind them Skyeladder, Proud Pink and UM Boyer were battling it out for the remaining points.

Proud Pink were able to finish 7th with both Skyeladder cars behind in 8th and 9th. UM Boyer took the 10th spot while Proud Pink took 11th with the remaining UM Boyer taking 12th.

Blue Angels I and Dakota Earl had massive issues with their cars in regards to the Temperature, so much so that Dakota Earl finished 6 laps behind the lead pack for 15th and 16th, but Blue Angels I had a scary moment at the end of the race. 3 Laps down from the lead pack and having a good in house duel between the two drivers a tire on Evans car blew from the heat, caught unaware and unprepared Evans was thrown into a slide that unfortunately collected his teammate. Both cars were sent off the track and resting against the tire wall, their races done, but they were able to classify 13th and 14th. Thankfully both driver were OK and their cars not too badly damaged, but a hairy moment for any driver.

And that is it for another race, I'm off for a nice cold shower, I would expect many a driver to be doing the same after this race. Remember though, if you are looking to join the IGP FMR Ranks please apply below or speak with one of our management team.

Here we are, the last race of IGP Formula Motorsport Racing Season 4 and it seems the heat has followed us all the way from Brazil to Abu Dhabi as it is another beautifully hot day. We were in for a treat of a final race today as every team was out to prove themselves, none more so that Jaguar Racing for our Rookie Division who were so focused hardly a word was spoken between Driver and Crew Chief, only to confirm Pit stops or data, a well oiled machine were Jaguar today and it showed as they took both 1st and 2nd quite easily.

Just like Brazil however, 3rd place was open for suggestion between a lot of teams. However it was Schwinesteiger who were able to hold off the rest with 3rd and 5th, WI Racing wasn't giving up without a fight though and take 4th and 7th behind a BMW take took 6th. Pied Piper were among them and finished 8th and 10th able to keep the second BMW between them but unable to advance forward, but a fine effort from them.

Outside the points we find Audi and Chemql in a duel for the finish, Chemql taking 12th and 13th, Audi flanking them in 11th and 14th. Behind the dueling pair but still in their own battle were, Blue Angels II, Gravitas, RJT Racing and Pandaslo, all grouped together, from 15th to 22nd, these teams were not giving up without a fight.

Blue Angels II were able to take the 15th spot with Gravitas behind in 16th. RJT were able to get between the Gravitas drivers for 17th, his teammate behind in 19th. Pandaslo finished 20th and 22nd giving the last Blue Angels II car a squeeze before the finish.

TGI Motorsports and TB Racing followed this group, TGI taking 23rd and 24th, TB taking 25th and 26th. Ghostdragon had a small scrap with Royal today as they finish 27th and 29th, Royal taking 28th and 30th while Maclaren once again were left at the back of the field to take 31st and 32nd.

And as the points are awarded so are the Trophies for the Constructor Champions. Congratulations to Joe Francisco: team Schwinesteiger, Brian Bromley: Team Jaguar Racing and W I R A C I N G: Team WI Racing for securing the top 3 places in the Rookie Division.

Our Pro Division was absolute chaos in the opening part to the race as many cars came together at the first corner, it left SL Racing needing a pit stop for both cars after the first lap, Carroll and Aston Martin came out of it both with Nosewing damage and way down the grid, but it also left Hopsocube in the clear to take 1st and 2nd by over half a lap from Benfica who crossed the line in 3rd and 4th. Followed closely by Laguna in 5th and 6th.

Puputan found themselves in a better position once things had settled down, but soon found themselves trying to fight of Aston Martin and BMR Racing. Puputan eventually finished 7th and 10th, with BMR Racing taking 8th and 11th, Aston Martin left with the crumbs in 9th and 12th. Carroll GP finished in 13th and 14th, but SL Racing eventually retired from the race wishing to conserve their cars and prepare for next season.

A huge congratulations to Adam Hopwood: team Hopsocube after an almost flawless season to take 1st in the constructors. Diogo Simoes: team Benfica SkyEmirates F1 stealing second from Aston Martin, a very well deserved Constructors 2nd and Priyanka Tulabha: team Aston Martin Red Bull for taking the 3rd Constructors Trophy.

Notahc didn't have such an easy race as they had in Brazil today as they found their position threatened by SLB Racing, a great drive from both teams but it was Notahc that took 1st and 3rd, SLB taking 2nd and 4th. It seemed as if Cruz Crew had taken a back foot today as they could only manage 5th and 7th with a Skyeladder car between them in 6th.

Proud Pink were able to finish 8th ahead of the second Skyeladder in 9th. Blue Angels I were able to take up the last points paying spot with 10th and 11th with the second Proud Pink driver behind in 12th. UM Boyer took 13th and 14th while Dakota Earl Racing rounded off the grid in 15th and 16th.

Congratulations to Mike Carter: team Cruz Crew for taking the Elite Constructors title along side Titi Bird: team SLB Racing who take second and Leo Yeo: team Notahc F1 who sneak into 3rd after a great run from a mid season start.

That is it for another season, it is now time for teams to prepare for Season 5, we will see you all again on Saturday 3rd March for the first race in Australia. Good Luck to any new faces and to the hold hands, prepare yourself because competition is coming thick and fast.
