Wow. That's not nice when you decide to change the maintenance time just few minutes before our race which is now suddenly postponed.

What now if it's raining tomorrow and everyone has already used their all practice attempts?

Big dislike. Please stay in previously informed decisions.

Hi Jari, Yunus (support@igpgames.com) can wipe all of your practice laps for everyone in the league, so you can re-do them. There is no need to worry. The maintenance window shifted for a reason, we wouldn't do that unless it was absolutely necessary. In addition to this, did you notice we sent 3 Tokens? It's enough to buy an ideal setup, which would eliminate the need to adjust the setup in the first place. Either way, I hope resetting the practice laps is enough to ensure it does not cause any great inconvenience to you.

Fantastic news! :-) Bring on the crazy rain showers! :D

Too bad Peter! Abu-Dhabi is the next in the schedule :D

@Jack: 5 degrees and weather station datas sound brilliant. Do we still have the 15 minutes delay in weather phenomenons or will they happen just in time?

There is still the 15 minute update sequence, but what we have improved is the rate at which this information is updated in the service itself, and it is synchronised across the entire service. A lot of the problems before were caused by this information going "out of sync" across the service.

I have to be careful to clarify what is meant by "weather station data" - it means we get the data from weather stations at 15 minute intervals. It doesn't mean anything like a facility in the game or some thing which gives extra insight in to weather than was available before. The game experience will be fundamentally the same.

We are aware, they will start in 2-5 minutes. Please try reloading in 2 minutes.

The delay was obviously related to the ongoing maintenance, which was not scheduled to go on for this long.

We've addressed why the races were not running though and they are running qualifying now.

EDIT: All races are running, real-time weather will go live shortly. Apologies for the mix-up and delays around these races. The maintenance window is proving slightly more complicated than first imagined, but should be drawing to a close now.

I wonder if the real-time weather is actually working correctly.
F1 GP of Germany (the real one) is about to start, air temperature is 26 degrees there. In my league also the German GP is scheduled today. Current weather reported in game is 14 degrees...

I know it's a different track, but still...

Edit: checked online weather and seems it's indeed only 15 degrees at the Nurburgring, so disregard this post :)

Yesterday, our race at Nurburg (Germany) had a temperature of 14 degrees Celsius, while the real temperature was 29 degrees Celsius (according to Accuweather). Nurburg is only a 3-hour-drive from my home, where it is above 30 degrees at the moment. I think there is still a bug in play...

I would like to notify you yesterday in the league that I participate (THE IGRE'S SUPREME LEAGUE) that the race was totally chaos !!!!!! The GP was from Turkey, had no rain forecast for the start of the race but on 7 lap the rain arrived and increased a lot from nowhere, started at 1.3mm and then started at 2.7mm and did not last 10 laps the rain subsided and then came back to increase !! In short: I wonder why inconstancy is like this? because I doubt it has been in real life in Istanbul that it rains, stops, rains for! And if there is a way to fix this rain system because it generates chaos in the race! Thank you

Same for us on league 'EscuderíasGP', racing on Germany and the weather is 'frozen', all the day has been on 14 degrees while the real temperature is 34 degrees. Should fix and check that...

I can report the same issue, we have a race in around 1h20m from now, and it's frozen in 14ºC.

Temp. Ger.
In one part of the website it says 15ºC, in the other one 30ºC, maybe it's a problem with the station and/or how it's being reported/receive the data by the website, or that kind of stuff.

As far as we can see this issue is from around a week ago, the replies previous to us are reporting the same issue (Gert Rose and Joost Bouwmeester).
