It’s a know bug and we’re working to fix it! I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Any timescales on fixing this? Seems like a pretty simple bug to fix

This bug isn’t easy to fix...

Didnt answer the question as per usual. Would it be fixed by undoing your disatourous tyre tweaks over recent months? How is the new AOR league fair when this bug is still in place?

Sorry, I can't assure you when it will be resolved, the developers had time to start investigating this bug later this week.

Quick solution, for this would be to do away with the compound display. Just show a supplier icon instead, after the race we can see what compound was used by rivals. There is always the Tyres Tab to look in, I forgot about it. Hahaha!

FYI a patch was launched for this today. Please get back to us on whether it is resolved for you. We did not want to announce it until we've received feedback that it is resolved. Also included in this patch was a fix for the Spain DRS bug (where DRS would activate for the car in P7 IIRC on lap 2).

@Paul - José's job is not to answer for what is happening in development. He isn't a coder nor does he really know what we are working on. His role is to organise and keep us in touch with the community (which has become too large for us to do now). I can assure you that we are not collectively trying to dodge these matters at all, and José's answers were not evasive, they were as much as he knew.

Hello Jack! I ran today with my smartphone and the problem still exist. We can see in the picture bellow my two opponents with SS on lap 14, but they was with S compound.

Bellow you can see the drivers P Morris and A Mauricio with S compound.

On the PC last night we had full wets the whole race.

There was a freeze in race for a few second's roughly 10:40pm and when it got going again the leaderboard was showing some people using soft tyres. Once the car crossed the start/finish line to start another lap it reverted back to showing full wets.

Just had an interesting Silverstone race; it rained between quali and race so most cars auto switched to Inters. But then it stopped and over about 20 laps dried to 0mm. A number of us pitted for Softs but really surprisingly the Inters didn't drop any pace at all, those who stayed out and had about 10 laps of fuel left on the stint were matching lap times to those on Soft on about 12 or 13 laps of fuel. Whether by fault or design some top drivers stayed on Inters at their next stop even though it was 0mm and they remained in their positions at very good pace. Track temp was about 6C but just seemed really odd that the Inters didn't completely lose their pace. Anyone any thoughts?

We've just had the same one of the mods has replied to thread started that it is a visual bug if you go to race results  you'll probably notice they where on right tyres hence the tines

You can check the after race report to see which tyres they really used. Also Intermediates, as the name suggests, are running quite well on the dry also. They 'only' have more problems with overheating and they wear down very quickly.

Bug happened again in my league today. It's especially annoying during variable weather race. Have any of the devs been sacked yet? It's a simple enum fix. Revert all the tyre fancying around stuff you've done in last 6 months, hand over development to a reputable company and then it will be fixed.

Wow, what's with all the aggression of what really is just a minor inconvenience. Close your race viewer, rejoin and problem solved, correct tyres showing.

Leave them alone to fix the issue.

Hi managers!

The beta tester team is already testing it, we’re close to a fix. We hope to have a live update that fix this bug in the next weeks.

Hi Paul,

First off thank you for an insight into our own code.

Second it was deeper than a simple enum fix. It is a bug that only happens under certain events so it was hard to replicate and thus find out what the issue was to fix it.

It turned out to be an app bug rather than a back end server bug, the other bugs around it, which got fixed at the same time but they were all server fixes.

The problem with it being an app update fix is we have a bi monthly release schedule at the moment for it. We are trying to bring this down but features get added at the same time as bugs being fixed and the release gets delayed.

We are currently testing a beta fix within the team here which is a hopeful release candidate. We should know more by Monday but the hope is that we can release it at least before the end of next week.

Regards
Darren

It's taken you over 2 months to sort it and its cost me 100s of points. I expect compensation. Thanks

I understand it took two months, but we also have a list of bugs and features we would like to implement overtime to keep the game going.

This bug was fairly low priority until recently on our list, as it wasn't fully understood what was causing it. We have had our QA team try and replicate the issue and find the exact way the issue you are facing happens.

This all takes time. Unfortunately, we never seem to get enough for everything we would like to do.

Like I said before, we believe this bug has been fixed in our internal beta builds. The only thing holding this up is some last minute fixes we need to implement so you get the best experience.

This bug is a visual one, it doesn't exactly ruin the game play. If you must know, it was down to an error in the update routines on the mobile UI for the timing screens when managing your team going out of sync.

There will be no compensation for this. As stated previously it is a visual bug, nothing with the simulation breaks in the background. It is just the information you see. It is not completely game breaking. Also, anyone else managing the race on a mobile device would get the same bug as you so there isn't any advantage too great to take 100s of points away from you.

I would also like to note while I say all of the above, I know it is frustrating for everyone to experience bugs like this. They are even more frustrating for us most of the time as we don't like you experiencing these issues.

It is easy to take your stress out on someone on a forum hiding behind the internet but please think about the team behind that forum and the game.

We all take these flame posts like you are posting quite personally and it actually has the opposite effect to what you are trying to accomplish. When we see posts like yours, it demotivates us and it gets quite upsetting, not just for our staff but the families we lean on for support through the bad days.

Please try to think about the people on the other side of the internet trying to make a living from this. At the end of the day this is a game for you but not for us.

Hi friends, first of all I would like to thank you, because today the game is about and it is my biggest fun. They have a number of qualities and very little to rectify, and they can note this statement of a total addicted to the game. I would love to be able to help more than being just one more manager giving a little feedback to you.

I understand that this is a small visual bug only, however it influences a lot in the course of the races because you can see which tire is performing better for the current situation of the track and time, so I ask friends to give priority to the issue because it affects all players who they play on the cell phone, not on the pc and this causes inferiority of conditions.

I would like to compliment and much the current durability and heating of the tires, ARE PERFECT! and I was a critic when they announced, So thank you because there was indeed an improvement!

I will give some tips my friends and I hope that the right and responsible people arrive:
 1. increase the possibility of overtaking in the rain, only happens with the use of kers.
 2. Create a classification training criterion so everyone is aware, someone much heavier has to have the time getting worse compared to those who have less fuel and both with the same tire.
 3. GP Canada among others add to the calendar.
 4. create within the headquarters an option to create our designers chiefs, cover many tokens for this, more tokens to define specialty, level, weakness and strengths.
 5. improve the positioning criteria of the hall of fame or take the limit of 10k and leave without limit.
 6. stop account unlinked should lose reputation and officials after a limit of runs.

Well there are some tips, I can give many more if you want to talk because of discord. hug and thank you for our fun
