+1 Neil.
This rubbish about a new pair of jeans is nothing to do with it.. Food / Bills and everything that is important to some and then what is left over per week / month then goes towards a game or 2.
I have been subscribing to Goal United and I will be spending my £6 there and tbh I don't want to. I would rather spend it here and the biggest joke of it.. I've not missed a month since I started and have spent about £40 since the start... So they make more money from me in less than a year than they do if I bought 1 year..
The other joke about it is iRacing it's self.. It's not the biggest one out of the genre and to run that, you really need a wheel.. and how many here have a wheel?
So that "selling point" is not well thought about.. I have a wheel and I race in a really hight quality league TPS who are under Inside Sim Racing. (about the biggest place you can find for Sim racing.)
They don't even bother with iRacing as it's over priced and not that great.. Pay in to the game, only to pay for each track and each car.. £10 and you can have every car and track that will ever be made for rF2... Sim Bin is starting off as F2P and then you have P.C.A.R.S....
I don't see why it's changed except to get a bundle up front.... yet with all these "fantastic" ideas in store.. why is the basic things not fixed?
If you was going down this road, the 1st thing is to fix the issues and then bring out this plan... As reading the forums, some have quite and some don't think their league or this game will be around in 1 years time..
These little (yet time consuming) issues are still here from the day I signed up and have never been sorted and still hearing "They are working on it"
Well... over 8 months on and the same issues with 2D and F2P are still here and "Still being worked on"
I am in the situation that I could pay for the 1 year at the end of the month, but no thanks. I've ran out of my Subs and once the season has finished in my league, i'm gone... and I would honestly say that I am up there with the top lot of the people logging in each day and more than once a day.
Oh well.
