You start with only one or two engines and buy to get more engines. If you replace too much, there will be a certain fine.

There is no point in doing that. Because the tokens you receive would all be spend in engines, no more transfers, no more paying your debts, and no more HQ upgrades skipping. Unless the managers bought tokens. And winning a championship in elite would depend on REAL MONEY. Your idea only make things worst!!!

I mean game dollars, not tokens.

Real dollars? Also one engine costs 3 tokens!!! It’s quite affordable for a few races not for 18 races!!

No, game dollars. The cash you use to upgrade HQs.

You know that that would make buying engines much easier.

But the higher the amount of engines bought, the more expensive it gets. Buying 22 will get you to pay 10mil for the last one, and the 1st bought would only be 400k, for example. (Murk)

That already exists. Stop with that **** idea, it would destroy championships

Yes. That is the point. Make it more fun and realistic. We need a DNF in our races!

It may already exist, but you need to pay for an engine and there is no restock in my idea.

This statement from you CenSy sadly sums it all up: it appears you can not win races, and would like the other cars ahead to retire, so you may get a better result.

Retirements have always been incredibly annoying and frustrating, and have no real place in the iGP Manager game. Introducing such variable would lead to many players leaving the game entirely when/if their car retires from the race, especially if they are in a strong race position, after an entire race pushing hard, and making the right race management decisions.

iGP Manager is a skill based racing game, that takes experience and time to improve. Improve your game by looking at how the stronger managers race and set their strategies.

Not that I couldn't win, but I am frustrated about how you need to repair your car every race to even have a chance to win! They could just repair to avoid DNFs, but not every race! I am in the process of looking at the strong managers, but this is the thing about them I am most frustrated about! They keep buying in case they don't have enough engines/parts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh, and another thing.

I have a solution.
Why not remove the daily bonuses and shop items relating to parts and engines, so they are more cautious about the 12 engines they are provided by the manufacturer. I'm sure that helps. Repairing every 2 or 3 races does not lead to a DNF, right?

But what would be gained for the game if the buy option for the token engines would be removed, and of course the sponsor token payout reduced by one to keep the balance? Something worth to ruin the races for managers looking for a good competition in their races. For quite a lot of leagues running no new engine actually means no real chance getting into points except for getting best of the rest if it happens that less than 10 out of 32 cars use a new one. Why should the managers deciding on an old engine for a race should even show up except to have a chat?

It might be nice to try as an option for a season once in a while more based on tactical season planning and less so having a challenge racing on the track, but that's probably best done if quick races get ever expanded to include custom leagues or tournaments,  also there the token part needs no consideration. But mandatory for the main league game I see no real improvement to the game play, but quite lot of the opposite.

A league could test it (my revised version) for one season, yeah, why not? ?

The suggestion is to shake up the field, making more competitive and exciting races. In some leagues, it will solve a Mercedes-dominance like problem, and make the winner unexpected. I want tactical season planning rather than a team winning all the races in a league just because he/she can. ?

"Rejected".

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

AND MY LIFE, BOTH IN IGP AND REAL LIFE, HAS GONE DOWNWARDS AFTER SUGGESTING THIS

It is rejected. I will run without engines for the season finale of seasons then.
