What I found was that our old Java viewer dev earlier today accidentally reverted to an older version of the viewer with the freeze issue when applying another update.

I'm so sorry, that should never have happened. I've corrected the viewer version immediately and Java 8 will be working again.

Hi Rick, I don't know if you saw my post (up two from yours). You don't need to downgrade, Java 8 is working. There was only a temporary glitch earlier where it wasn't, due to our viewer engineer uploading an incorrect file version.

I think this lasted right up to the start of your race, which is why you probably saw it.
