It is very strange for me that this is being discussed. Just make your league active lol. And if it is inactive, go to the active one and help another league.

No promotion in your league? It is your problem that you cannot attract new players, then you are a bad host.

Why did this topic become such a discussed topic at all? Isn't everything obvious here, guys?

One of the things I have said for years is, 32 cars per race is too much.
I’m not saying lose this option entirely, but at least allow hosts to set a maximum of 16/24/32 (2 relegation spots/3 relegation spots/4 relegation spots) for example. Although this makes Kevin’s list of different permutations threw the roof! ?
I think a lot of leagues would be awesome with 24/24/24 and create massive battles at the top and bottom of the pro and elite leagues

I also think that hosts should be restricted, possibly level 16 and above only. This will stop so many empty leagues being created all the time

I haven't read the thread, but I understand the problem being discussed and already have a solution in mind for it. It won't be possible to work on it until January at the earliest but it will be a fundamental revision of how the tier system works to ensure lots of activity and better populations in all three tiers across all leagues.

The only reason I'm not sharing the idea now is there are many obvious details that need more thought before it is ready for a public discussion. The discussion would just devolve in to "what about X? what about Y?" and all the details that aren't polished about the idea yet, so until I have answers for all the questions I'll keep working on it. As with all changes like that there is a basic idea which is good, and then all the permutations of that idea and butterfly effects which need more time devoted to them and solutions.
