As far as I am aware account level has nothing to do with BMI.

BMI is a function of the drivers height, weight and (maybe) age and maybe (gender). Depending on which form of BMI calculation was used.

What I’m saying DD is that while it’s been confirmed that that’s how it works I don’t quite see why it should work that way. It does cause pain for people in Cee’s position that’s for sure.

I think how it works when training weight downwards
Is still as it used to be. Which I believe would still be stamina and weight alternating (or random)

Although I’ve also heard that a lot of drivers are coming out of HQ with green BMI so maybe this hasn’t been observed yet?

Ok what I thought was a simple question seems to be more complex.  I’m of the opinion that having to max out stamina before changing BMI is to the managers advantage and certainly from the races I’ve seen so far with managers have similar stats and one has stamina at 30 and other green BMI the former seems to outperform over course of race .but until we see a few seasons of data there is nothing to prove or disprove it.

It is simple, there needs to be a balance for BMI. There's not. I setup my league for 16 race seasons. it will take almost two seasons to fix my BMI issue while neglecting other training...
You can look at the first 3 races in my league and see the difference...
What if when you train just physical, it improves BMI by improving stamina and adjusting weight (+or-) based on level? I could achieve green BMI in level 17, but if it's not high enough when I reach 18 then BMI gets reduced to yellow or red. At lower levels it would be easier to achieve green, but have to improve with each level promotion...
I wouldn't change how stamina works...
I have 2 teams in the league

Cee, what do you mean by BMI gets reduced when your level goes up?  I don’t see how changing level impacts your BMI,  but perhaps I’ve missed something in the update about this?

that was a suggestion to make it more fair to lower levels... I just want to be able to train my drivers in a timely matter. without spending to much having to replace them, which seems to be the only option

Hello managers,

This should be fixed now. From now on training “Physical” will randomly train weight or stamina.

Ok, what criteria is used in igp's algorithm to determine bmi? if it's been posted then post a link here... I have a driver who has gone up two levels in stamina and no change in the number or color, and can't loose anymore weight. If gaining weight helps improve bmi, then the ability to gain weight should be added. An off, plus or minus button could be added...

Hi Cee. The ability to gain weight was added as part of the update. By training physical your driver will now either gain stamina, or lose/gain weight automatically to move towards a green BMI range.

The fix Jose refers to was referring to the fact that immediately after the update physical would first train stamina to 30 before affecting weight.

Now one or the other can be impacted at random as a result of the training.

This implementation is poor, just finished getting a driver prior to update t20 on all stats, just turned level 19. If weight had no bearing on performance why did it change?

Those who trained stamina to level 20 are penalized, now I have to wait for level 30 stamina before I can improve the BMI or buy a new driver with low exp.

Are developers purposely creating problems for players to fix with tokens?

Hello Giorgio,

That statement isn’t right, you can train weight and stamina at the same time.
