The league is back and everyone is back in it. Make sure you keep it active and this can't happen. That includes kicking out inactive users.

Thank you for your support! Could you please clarify whether the number of league points awarded is determined by the absolute number of active players or their percentage of the total?

It is based on the percentage/share of eligible race entries, not the absolute number of active players.

Each recent race entry can score from preparation and activity signals: saved setup, saved strategy, opening the live race or checking in around race time, and league interaction. These are averaged across eligible entries, so a bigger league is not rewarded just for being bigger.

Inactive occupied seats can still lower the score because they remain in the denominator if they are eligible for those races. Replacing inactive managers helps because it improves the share of managers who are actually preparing and participating.

For offline leagues, live race presence is exempt and is not measured in the same way.

So in theory, a league owner can just remove inactive accounts to increase their score while hopefully also giving their league priority in the league search tool for players to join since it has more vacancies. Does that sound about right?

I'm going to answer this one but yes pretty much. Anything is better than having dead inactive accounts in a league.

Unintentionally, this new system also does more damage to farms than almost any update before it.

Just before the races yesterday we receive the warning of clousure of the league, and today the league is closed.

Can you please restore the league?

Many thanks in advance Jack!

The league is back. Make sure to prune inactives and keep only active teams to keep the league going.

Thanks, I appreciate that feedback. All the work on this version is starting to come together. We have a new race viewer UI, 3D Avatar editor, custom race suits and helmets on the way and much more.

What's happening now is still groundwork. The next app launch will be something else, a whole new level.

Specifically, I think you should set it up so that if a player doesn't log in for a month, they are automatically kicked by the system.

I agree with the principle. Inactive teams sitting in race seats are bad for leagues, and the new host tools are partly designed to make that much more visible and give hosts a reason to keep pruning inactive managers. In fact, many will have to now to keep their leagues, and many have been shut down already.

So yes, I think this is the right direction. The first step is making inactivity visible and rewarding active leagues properly. Once the thresholds are proven, automated removal can be considered more safely.

The only problem I see is with offline leagues, which don't have a gold league and don't active the offline mode. . When it comes to activity metrics, like "connected to race " and another one I dont remember, it's obviously at 0%, and that hurts the league's activity rating. Despite being a 100% active league, these metrics prevent it from being a very active league, making it stable and declining...

For example, in the last race everyone was active and did set up, except ñ one manager, and the set up metric only shows 63%. There must still be some error somewhere.

Offline leagues have been excluded from these metrics. They don't count towards their score.

But I imagine you're referring to offline leagues played with offline mode activated, right? For that, you need to be a Gold League member. I'm referring to offline leagues as they've always been played, without being a Gold League and without activating offline mode. I don't think the system automatically detects these leagues I'm referring to, like mine, as offline leagues. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself clearly.

That would be true then, yes. I'm unsure of the best way to approach this, because letting leagues say "we're actually an offline league" to the system without being an official offline league would just be open to exploitation, farms would use it.

I guess it has to be a downside to doing offline races the unofficial way. I don’t like going against my fellow Italian player but I think you can live with it.

I'm asking out of ignorance, is it possible for you to manually disable those parameters in my league? I understand that if someone asks you to do this, it's because it's not a farming league, since you could easily verify that.
