Luckily every other track doesn't have the same bug

The lighter car qualifies in front of the heavier car, they swap places at the start of the race. Only way to change the result is to edit strategy but this race ran it's self.

Kindly fuck off, you're the only person here who doesn't accept it.

Touchy! When you accept it effects the whole grid and not just P1 & P2 I will accept it. That's the the point I'm trying to make.

Does P4 overtake P3 100% of the time? Does P6 overtake P5 100% of the time? Come back when you can back that up.

I had a driver on pole at Singapore who went longer than the guy who started 2nd, wasn't overtaken at the start. Why not?

The fact that it happens to the full grid is most likely the reason it has never been changed and Jack hasn't started work on any of the tracks on the list yet because of bigger problems.

The lighter car qualifies in front of the heavier car

It is my understanding that there is no such thing as a lighter car in qualifying. The only influence the strategy has on qualifying is the tyres which are always the same compound as stint 1, the fuel load is not relevant because all the cars qualify with minimum fuel. On many occasions my "heavier" car out qualifies the one running the shorter first stint.

I agree with Chris... it's a feature (i.e. bug)

When I qualified on pole in Valencia last season, I didn't drop to 2nd position after T1.

I dropped to third. Ha! Debunked! /s

You are saying random jump in Abu Dhabi but is always happens, for that very reason. It's straight run exiting the pits where as it's a corner for those on the track.

With Valencia it doesnt always happen. If the driver in pole is better than the driver in second, if the driver in 3rd is better than the driver in 4th, if the driver in 5 th is better than the driver in 6th. so on and so on. It doesnt just effect the pole sitter.

Opening lap of all races is full of overtakes, cars with one lap more fuel that started behind get in front and then fall back again. It's a shame didnt have boost from lap one I could take off on my own lol

If you want to get into even more details. each car has a different DRS & Finish line if look closely enough you will see so. Cars get DRS and they have a bigger gap between them than other cars. Many a time my car has had a car with it's front wing in front of my car yet he got DRS not me.

i agree with 'Cars get DRS and they have a bigger gap between them than other cars. Many a time my car has had a car with it's front wing in front of my car yet he got DRS not me' it happened many time with me as well earlier, but this can be due to the less developed technology facility [its js my assumption]

I suspect that speed could play a role in how far back a car can get DRS, though I'm not sure if it's true. Let's say I have Boost on just before the DRS line. My speed will be higher and thus I could cover a second over a longer distance, nabbing that DRS.

Sorry to go off-topic with this post btw.

I have seen my car nudge infront of a backmarker at the DRS line, however I am quite certain I saw the other car get DRS when he was still infront of me. Its marginal enough though to not bother mentioning it

I've added this to our internal bug tracker. Never really considered it an issue until now, because sometimes it doesn't happen (have been aware of it all these years). I think as the leagues get more competitive it seems to happen more often, until the point it becomes almost guaranteed to happen. I believe it's something to do with the particular angle/radius of T1 or the grid, but can't say for sure as I don't work on the simulator.

It's not a high priority, which is why the can has been kicked down the road this far on it. But it's there now, to be picked up by one of the other devs when they get to it. As I said though, there are much higher priority tasks that are going to come first like launching the next update, which is already behind schedule.
