I watch the races through the android app all the time Jamie.

Rename drivers? That is possible? I didn't know that.

Indeed!

Costs 5 coins. Just select the driver, the 3 dots on the top corner and edit.
You can change their name and nationality.

Last night I tried it. while the app was bugging, my browser (Safari) was working fine. Anyway I will repeat the test tonight.

You can be logged into both at the same time. Would be interesting to see.

Ok, so burned through 15 coins on my main account. You cant leave a blank name, but can leave a space!

I have renamed both my drivers on this team, one leave a blank space for first name, the other blank space for second name. I will test tonight.

Looking at the test times, I think its most likely the case where the first name is just a space instead of a name.

I've prevented this from being possible now. It's no longer possible to give a driver a space for a name.

Ok, so I can confirm it also, the league where I have drivers with only one name is a mess when viewing via the Android.

I tried to view with an account in that league and then i swapped to another account, checked with a different race and it was fine, tried to spectate the race with the one name drive and same, mess.

So it must be something in the app and the way it deals with driver names

I really hope this mess can be fixed; live race is the most important and the funniest part of this game, in these conditions it makes me not want to play...☹️

Same problems tonight, live race is unmanageable in this way.. any idea to solve this problem? I don't want to quit the game, but without live race there's no fun..

Only 3 solution comes to mind: Jack renames Willian, the manager renames the driver, the team leaves the league. If the manager renames the driver himself it would be nice if he gets those 5 token back but it would be good manners to do it regardless so everyone can enjoy the game.

I don't recommend this. It is highly unlikely to resolve the issue.

This isn't an issue (or any other bug) that's resolved by switching leagues. There's an error somewhere and Jack is going to try to fix it when he investigates and finds the problem.

Thanks guys. So, as a solutoin I've given the drivers the same first name and last name. There were only three drivers with this issue in the entire game, and obviously at least one was just made to test this. The issue would've only been in your league until now, Mauro.

It won't happen again now. I've patched the ability for this to happen and given the driver a valid name.

If the manager(s) in question want to rename their driver again, I'll be happy to send them 5 Tokens to do so. The need only ask.
