there are many good ideas here. but i still think the first one it's easier for them to make it real.

How about giving each supplier 5 different versions!
Slick tyres
Grooved tyres
Long life tyres
Short life tyres
Medium life tyres

Have to select a supplier to get the +1 then you have to lock yourself into a 17 race contract with a type of tyre to use.
They could nearly do the same with engine versions & fuel mixtures.

I still think we need gearbox, brake & suspension suppliers :P

CD builds the chassis
CD & TD Research to improve the chassis
We spend design points to improve the chassis
But the supplier bolt on's are fixed rates.

A more detailed supplier section.
Each component has a weight wrote on it, with a Maximum and Minimum weight allowed.
In theory we are building the cars around the lead driver. Picking supplier by weight.

Pneus Hards são invencíveis. Estou cansado de ter o melhor carro da liga, e perder corridas para Gerentes preguiçosos que usam H/H.

I've watched how some people win races in Bahrain, using SS-H-H , and supposing that H is the best tyre, H-H-H strategy never win... even in summer!

well... starting on SS means you have a gap at the start. maybe you cant close it on time.

and... if your race is 50%. H-H is the way to kill SS-H-H ;)

Jack... have any answer to this suggestion? kick the table :)

Hello new on this forum only been racing 3 seasons now but of lately it's getting a but annoying how people are quicker on H tyres than on SS even though SS is a short stint and also how H tyres work on every temperature even when its cold 10° c they are quicker than S.

Why can't we have a simple softer the tyre quicker they are by half second each time they go softer and also at the same time softer the tyre quicker it degrades. And tyres need to be more sensitive to temperature window they work best in H tyres have to be slower than S at 10°c.

Hence if u want quicker lap times go SS but they will only last short time and people need to pit more times or at least run different tyre strategy. SS + H or SS + S + S or S + M this gives variation more options to choose and see which managers get best combo to get a win. At the moment many people are just choosing H + H + H and getting wins compared to others who go for supposedly faster softer tyres SS + S + S +S losing out even when temperatures shouldn't be suiting H tyres like at 10° c how can H be faster than SS or S.

I know it's easy said than doing it but I'm sure geniuses here can fix it as the game is awesome I'm hooked! But tyres are a bit annoying!

I would like to see the introduction of the 'Ultra Soft' tyre. This would be even quicker than SS but the durability would be less. To re-balance the tyres I propose the following:

Ultra Soft - Faster than SS but less durability
Super Soft - Slight increase in durability in cold weather
Soft - Slight increase in durability in cold weather, slight reduction in temp in cold weather
Medium - Make it hard for them to heat up in cold weather, slightly increase speed in warm climate
Hard - Make it very hard for them to heat up in cold weather, slightly reduce speed in warm climate, slight reduction durability

I'm agree with you, Ali! Please add the Ultra Soft into the game; that'd bring a lot of possible new strategies and exciting races!
