Am I the only one that thinks this?

I think the age thing is random. So that some drivers begin to deteriorate at 27 while others won't start to get worse until they are maybe 37.

This could be very true Edwin. Back in my very first league (and second league I think) a friends team of mine had a driver Luis Moreno who used to just slaughter us. Granted he had 16 talent, which at the time was high (and much higher than we had), he would often run on red tyres and still utterly annihilate us.

But he was 32 when the guy got him, and was still very fast at 35+

Maybe it is to do with how long they have been racing, not necessarily age?

EG They are only good for X amount of seasons?

I find that my team always does well at Silverstone, regardless of Driver or Car %......I had moved from Rookie to Pro in the season just gone and not been competitive all season, with average Qualy and a struggle for top 10 finishes except for England where we Q'ed 7th and finished 2nd against way better teams....
Is there a Home track advantage maybe???

If that's true then it bites, because my current drivers are already starting to slow, and they aren't even 26 yet (last time i looked)

Still curious as to what makes experience go up. My driver Mansell hit 9 experience yesterday and when I got him he only had 3 (or maybe 4, I just remember it was red).

Some guys reckon they've had their drivers for 200 races and experience hasn't changed at all. My drivers seems to be going up rather consistently (and quickly for that matter).

I'm almost certain experience goes up with X amount of wins or podiums, but really no way to tell.

I suppose my track is Monaco - I got pole and in the first stint my driver lead by 40s on equal % car. Next race, all was even again.

Unfortently I have a bad bout of this, I'm good at some tracks depends on which account though, I'd be getting wins and top 3s then I'm struggling to get top 10s. Rather annoying, until I read this thread I thought it was just me, but I realize now :(
