Jack, will the races with the wet race bug be done again? This race I'm in is ruined completely, one player is able to switch to wets and is 5 laps ahead of 3rd place.  The rest of us are stuck with softs because we have no 2D access and the live timing, pre-race strategies aren't working.

There was a glitch with the weather system that meant that as far as the drivers were concerned, all the races since the update have been bone dry, even when it's raining.  This was the reason your drivers kept putting on softs.  Sorry about that!  It should be fixed now.

I understand you've had a busy and hectic night. But I need to point out some things that need to be considered. The 2d racing that took place during the patch was extremely bugged. This caused many managers to make wrong/bad decisions. For one thiong the weather station was not available in 2d racing during the patch, so if weather played a role in any race, the outcome was affected for those that have a weather station. Also, because of the fact that all facilities were removed when the patch went live, I don't think anyone that had scheduled assembly orders went thru. I know for a fact that I have never seen components below 50%...I currently have a few in the 30% range...and some of those I had scheduled for replsacement prior to the race that was completed during the patch. Either the parts were not replaced, or you guys DRASTICALLY changed the wear and tear per race on the car parts. The 2d racing was severely bugged during our race. I was watching thre lap times and split times in relation to position on the track, and things were not in sync. I also noticed that despite my being in sevcond place at one point, the 5th, 6th, and 7th place drivers were in front of me. At some points I was in 4th place but on the track IU was in front of the first place driver. And no one was showing as being a lap down during the entire race, so that was not an issue in relation to the position on the track. Also at times if a driver from another team pitted, they would never leave the pits. All of these bugs adfd up to potential bad decisions by managers. Hell my drivers were shown using DRS in turns nowhere near the DRS zone. Also, because of the bugs I had to restart the 2d racing multiple times. Every time I reloaded, I looked at my drivers and they were heading into the pits...even if they had just pitted. If I wasn't so vigilant and cancelled the pit stops, who knows how badly I would have finished.

All this being said...I had a good finish...but I want that finish earned honestly. I wouild hate to have done as well as I did because a competitor had suspension failure because their scheduled assembly replacements duid not take effect. I would hate to declare a good finish because my competitor did not realize the buggy nature of 2d racing during the patch and made bad decisions based on this.

Please look into this seriously...there are a lot of bugs that occured during the patch that may have caused a lot of unintended consequences...these need to be fixed for accuracy and the integrity of this game. You folks have a great game on your hands...I'd hate to see it lost because some folks got screwed because of bugs during a patch.

Is there a list up anywhere which shows what updates have occured? I know there may be other priorities at the moment, but thought I'd ask anyway.
There's another thread which still outlines "possiblities" for the Q1 patch, but no actual details of what has made it in. Can't see any info anywhere.

So my race ran at 3:30 AM, I lost points, lost reputation, one race as a subscriber wasted...also lost budget.

And now I can make a 3 colour livery? How nice!!!

You're not as committed as the rest of us in the game.

We "as a league" voted to re-run the race as once it came back online, as most people had not run a setup and then 2d went down causing random pitstops, so we raced once all the problems were fixed as the race had to be done... any issues with that our league chat is here http://igpmanager.com/play/?url=league-info/156#info
Or PM N Rae as league host he had final say on the decision tbf you werent online when the original race started [before 2d crashed] so even if the original race run you would have still lost points and reputation
& there was no way to ask you what your chosen "time" for a re-run would be

My problem is not with the league. It's the way the update was carried out. I was online through the update and as it dragged out I went to sleep when our races originally end.

Let me clarify about my previous post, the tyre wear in the race after the update had very small tyre wear (all was set up as usual).
Any ideas on why this happened?

Everyone needs to lay off the devs my league waitied till 1:30 to do our race after we got a restart. Which kept us up till 3 now I work 12hour shift 9 till 9 and am not complianing updates and problems are hard enough without everyone moaning about it you want the game to get better. Of course there's gona be a few bugs when an update go live to the masses tests don't always show up on a small scale. They cud have taken the site down for a whole day but then the bugs might not have appeared till races started again so lay off give them a chance to get thru all the problems and make this game nuch better than it already is.
