I don't understand [...] why you killed the old view that everyone liked and got used to over the years.

It's still there, enable it under Settings > Race Viewer > '2D'.


2D is also now much more laggy than before, at least for me

Just finished my first league race in the 3d view and it was just a mess. Fair play from the igp team for all the effort as im sure you have worked tirelessly to make this new update. But needs alot more time to be developed more smoothly. My main problems is the lag, unrealistic,my head is spinning after that race 😅and cant get a sense of the race like in 2d view. Maybe in 3d view in future could add a mini map on screen to have a better understanding of the race. Hopefully we can go back to 2d until its better experience in 3d

Bug - If you join your league race via: League > schedule > live 
It puts you in the race in 2d, even if you select 3D in settings. Leaving and Joining from the Home Screen puts it back in 3D.

In quick races, right in the centre of the screen it says B Evans, IGP Motorsport

Also no DRS zone round Hockenhiem



the reason they is no drs at hockenheim is for i am pretty certain iGP uses nurburgring GP track instead

I finished the japan race 20 minutes ago in 3D tried all the views but i was seeing ghost cars , and speed was not steady. Also DRS activation was weird and couldn't identify if i passed or was passed until the next checkpoint

Mexico, so 2d, fair enough, but very laggy. Car was slowing down half way down a straight to 100 then doing 250+ round a tight bend.

Bugs -  Very weak DRS at China and Japan, takes 5 attempts to overtake a car.
I lost 20% of KERS, I pressed the button, the KERS went down and my car never moved.
I can't spectate any races using the iGP manager exe on Windows 10, a circle appears spinning and then nothing.
A lot of racers who did get into 3D in my league couldn't see much, they had to refresh as 2D.
Overall very much a downgrade which made some managers in my league want to quit.
Hope you can sort the bugs out ASAP, thanks.

The average speeds during the lap are absolutely bonkers. Just did a league race at Australia, on 100% distance, lap times were averaging around 1:04-1:06. The fastest lap ever recorded at Australia is a 1:24.125. At 1:05, average speed for the lap is 293.7 km/h. Do the cars just skip the turns or never brake? That really needs to be fixed.

I must reiterate that this is a thread for reporting bugs so we can fix them. It slows things down to sift through opinions, so anyone that wants to be helpful: please keep the reports to the issue at hand and include a screenshot or more information like the device and platform.

Correct. We expect most of the challenges that has presented to be resolved within 48 hours, any remnants within a couple of weeks. If you've followed the launch of other similar 3D & online games, you'll have seen them face all the same problems and big budgets and teams were no defence against it. For anyone not as aware of all the ongoings in the genre our rollout is actually going smoother than the others I've seen so far!

I am actually very confident about the situation, based on that insight and an understanding of what the challenges we face are. They are insignificant compared to what we had to do to get this far, and that will be demonstrated in the updates over the next few weeks.

I play from a xiomi phone with android 10 4gb of ram and octacore. I tried both in 4g and in wifi. I can not enter any live in 3d or 2d. I have installed the app several times ... cleared the cache ... restarted the phone ... but nothing. is there anything i can do? thank you very much

You can activate 2d, through the switch present in "settings".

The contrast in feedback between tonight and earlier in the day is clear. Earlier all races were running at 1x speed. It seems 2x speed is the source of most issues. This hasn't come as a surprise to us and is one of the issues we were aware of prior to launch. The closer your race is to 1x speed the better it's going to behave until we get a patch out.

Try a 1x speed race in 3D and I bet you'll see a world of difference. Quick races are currently set to 1x speed if you want to try it.

Of course, simply go to 'Settings' and change 'Race view' to '2D'. We kept it because we know it's the best mode for pure management. You can never match the amount of information that 2D can convey. A minimap is definitely something we'll look in to.

Yeah we understand it's a work in progress and hope you get it right 
Just putting our opinion across  shame we couldn't have the option of the old views untill it's ironed out properly

Gameplay was pretty smooth my end no lag or jumping, I did only run the one race in QR, perhaps it's phone dependant? If it helps I have a Samsung a71 8gb ram

Now it's pretty clear that we're seeing people playing on 2x saying it's the worst thing ever and those playing on 1x saying it's the best thing since sliced bread. Our task now is to get 2x races working as well as 1x in 3D. We can get on top of this.

No setting is perfect yet, we're quite open about that, but if you want to see what I mean, try a quick race. They are currently set to run in 1x speed.

All our league is Back on 2D, 3D is unplayable. You dont know where you are, where is DRS zone, everything shaking, dont know where use Kers, total disaster.
