Daylight savings is coming up, 28 october, which means all your races on the sunday of that weekend will be on the incorrect time like last daylight savings. If igp does not adjust for this... make sure all u hosts out there (even u jason mcrae i know u dont care but please try) adjust for this so there wont be any re-runs needed for something u all knew in advance...
And i apoligise for elephants forgetting more than me!

Frank is correct. Not every country (or state in US) does DST time changes, and those who do, don't do it all at the same moment. So no way for the game to do this automatically.

I could be wrong but I thought this was corrected in the latest update

Would be surprised because as Jack said last time it can't be fixed, because the game can't fix that people are living all over the world and follow different DST change dates, or none at all. So the game can't know when, or if at all, a league wants to change the race time.

What probably is fixed is showing the right time for the race start for your set time zone, but unless the league host manually adapts it the race starting time will move one hour back or forward as your country, or region, switches DST.

No need I'll pin it until then so it will stay at top of first page.

So for all the leagues affected remember the league admin must manually change the prace time and it takes 1 race time to come into effect.

what does this mean then in the latest changelog

“Added new automatic timezone syncing system to prevent issues with DST in certain regions (race times being incorrect).”

Probably that there was an issue saying the race was at 13, when it was at 14 in the home page. Otherwhise it would go versus what Jack earlier said, stated by Frank.

Ok so as a host myself when(what date) do I need to action the change myself so it will be seamless and we don’t end up having to race at a different time

Change it on 27th of October before your race time so after you make the change you have a race on the 27th then on 28th it should change to new time as per time change.

Our 1st race of the season is Saturday 27th so does that mean I can change it now?
Oh I hate these time changes, it doesn't take much to confuse me these days, thanks to the old chemo brain

Ermmm now I’m confused are we changing it before the Saturday race or after the Saturday race

Also mine is 7pm normally so I assume I select it as 8pm for it to fall back to 7pm when the clocks change

Thanks M S.
Just to confuse things our races start at 23:30 and so goes over past midnight, into the next day so if I change the time after the Saturday race, I'll be changing it on Sunday  Does that matter? Do I change the time before or after Saturdays race?

Thanks Jim for picking up on my mistake I've edited my previous post. Yes that's correct Jim we have set new race start time as +1 hour so after clocks go back new time changes to -1 hour so back to default in your instance set it to 20.00 after clocks go back it go back to 19.00

For clarification time must be changed on saturday before race starts as it takes 1 race time to change race time. Sorry for confusing everyone lol even I'm getting all mixed up ha ha.

I have a little question.

I am administrator of this championship https://igpmanager.com/app/p=league&id=67308 the championship begins on October 28, 2018 Sunday evening at 23:00 Italian time, here in Italy Saturday night changes the time, bringing the clocks forward one hour back, to start the race at 23:00 on October 28, 2018 what do you recommend?

Do I have to change manually on Sunday morning or tomorrow evening?  Or does the system update its elf?

Thanks

@Gert

You have to do it yourself, the game doesn't think about this.
