In all fairness, Marcus has a point, because it was initially rescheduled for the end of July. This has been a very busy period for us and things are moving in directions we couldn't have predicted even 4 weeks ago. There's a lot of buzz around iGP at the moment and we're putting as much effort in to
developing partnerships as coding. Some of these opportunities only come knocking once (especially for a small start-up), so we intend to pursue them.
My expectation is that we're looking at another couple of weeks at least before the update is released, but the silver lining is that the service is still expanding, just not in ways anyone could have predicted a few months, or even a few weeks ago.
Given the way things are headed I'd say it's likely we'll move away from the quarterly update model to something more flexible (if we haven't already). Over time, the quarterly model has proven a hindrance to really growing the service. Because of how it squeezes you on time, it leads to unimportant objectives being put ahead of important ones, and that's not the way we want to work moving forward. We want to combine development with building partnerships and branching out in to more forms of motorsport.
Of course if fingers are going to be pointed at anyone, they can only be pointed at us. But our policy remains to be open with the community, and you can be sure that we are still working as hard as ever.
