Is there a time limit on how long you kan keep a driver found in the young driver academy. I found a driver but I want to use him after 2 seasons.

There shouldn't be, considering Jack is planning to add a training program into it, which will hopefully arrive with the forecoming patch.

I found a 17 year girl, she has 19 talent, but 69 kg. How can I hire her ? She has no self esteem. What boy would look at a 17 year girl, weighing 69 kg ? She presumably is short (to fit in a car), so she probably looks like this http://regretfulmorning.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/concieted.jpg No boy would look at her, she will chase away the publicity crew and sponsors and will probably bend the bottom of the car.

She probably is more technically oriented, which is the one reason why there are not many woman in our sport? Most woman aren't technically interested to take part in f1.

You need something to keep you warm through these winter nights.

"More training gets young drivers race-ready sooner but costs more money"

Sorry, but where is the link to the drivers - I just see talent, but no skills. Am I missing something?
Who decides, when a young driver is race ready? A bar saying: "Race-ready"?
That's nothing but a joke!
I want to see the skills and the data of the driver, otherwise it's just rubbish!

The stats don't actually exist in the academy, they are generated when the driver is hired or fired.

FYI (and I'll add this in to the interface to clarify) the race-ready value means that when they are randomly generated, they can start with levels that are equal to your development level +1, or if they are half-ready then it will be up to 50% of your development level +1 etc.

so what ur saying is that with me being level 10, when my driver is at 100% race ready development, his average level will be level 11 but the attributes in that level 11 will be completly random?

for instance they could be 20 in influence, charisma, team work.
And 2 in fast & slow corners etc & so on in that Level 11 average.

or will they be 11 in every attribute.

I've updated the tooltip next to 'Race-ready' to read as follows:
There will still be significant variation among skills in a race-ready driver. But being 100% race-ready makes it possible to have skills up to your maximum development level +1.

There's still potential for variation in the skills, but they will be focused in a higher bracket, up to your development level +1. The minimum possible level is also raised when they are race-ready.

In the end it's always going to involve an element of surprise, but the higher your development level the more certain you can be that they will come out of the academy "race ready".

I like it and think it's realistic. When mclaren signed hamilton they didn't know he'd match alonso and when renault signed grosjean they didnt know he'd become "crashjean". :)

Sounds like a fair balance between control and a challenge, gives us something to manage and work on.

Ok so the higest attribute is +1 of ur dev level, so a level 10 manager with a 100% race ready driver will make the highest any attribute will be 11?

and another question would be, if u trained a driver to 100% when your still a level 10 manager but dont sign him and keep him in youth facilty and then move up a level to 11 manager level in future, will the driver start developing again back up to the next level or will he stay at the level below? (Do u see what i mean?)

That's right, and the driver's potential will increase with your level in the circumstances above.

No, but I could change that if there's demand.
