Unable to go into race

What did you try to do?
Attemping to go in during a race.

What happened instead?
Race loads up to 50% then does not load through. You get a reconnect reason 3 and it starts again

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?
Both

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?
Both

What is the model of your device?
Samsung galaxy 7, also on tablet and mac laptop

What is the operating system?
Android

What is the version number of the operating system?
Unknown

What operating system is your PC?
IOS

Which browser did you experience the problem in?
CHROME

Can the bug be reproduced?
Happened 2 races in a row

I have the same thing happening. Race will not load, gets to 50% the. Gets stuck "connecting to server" or "negotiating".
Have tried it on my Samsung Tab A and OnePlus 7 pro phone. 
Two days in a row.

Hi there, if you're still experiencing this problem, please erase the app cache in your mobile devices and website cache in browsers and let us know if this helps.

For mobile devices, visit your account settings in the iGP Manager app and tap on the clear cache option.

To follow up on this, if what I suggested above does not help, then please try the set of steps provided below. These steps only apply towards Android devices!

Please note if you joined the game without associating a Facebook account or e-mail address with your account, you will be logged out and be unable to log back in. Please link a Facebook account or e-mail address in your iGP Manager account's settings before proceeding. If you do not perform this step before proceeding you will need to e-mail support@igpgames.com for assistance in recovering access to your account after following the steps below.

On your mobile device, go to your device's settings. 
Go to 'Apps' or 'Apps & Notifications', depending on your device's Android version.
Find and tap the iGP Manager app, then find and tap on 'Storage'.
Tap 'Clear cache' and confirm if necessary.

Then, launch the iGP Manager app again and log in and let us know if this helps!

I have tried clearing the app cache and it still doesn't work. I also checked for updates, and tried uninstalling-reinstalling the app to see if that did anything, but the app is up to date and does the same thing after reinstalling.


This appears to affect any spectating, be it of my own race or even other races.

We tried this with no solution. Now 3 different users in our league cant get on. The league owner is in the UK and is having no problems but the 3 having issues are in the USA.

Hi guys, I'm very sorry to hear this hasn't helped. I've looped the developers in on this problem. Could the players who are unable to get into the race share their device models and Android version numbers here in this thread? It would help us greatly.

I am using a OnePlus 7 pro with Android 9. Also a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 that is running Android 8.1.0. 


It seems rather hit and miss. We can sometimes get into another leagues race to spectate, but it seems a bit random as to when it works and when it doesn't. As for our own leave races, today makes the last 3 that haven't worked for the USA based managers in our league (that have reaponded. Could be more.).

I believe it's not just USA managers affected. Our developers are investigating this and might have some theories that they will be looking into.

Has re-installing the app helped? If anybody in this thread experiencing this problem has not re-installed the app, please try that, and for those re-installing on Android devices, clear the app cache once more before logging in after re-installing the app.

I also had uninstalled/reinstalled the app the first day it happened, with no change.

I had it happen once but second time trying like a minute after it happened it was fine. Developers u need to look into this further happening to loads of people and messing up their races and even championship chances

Hi all, we're working to make progress on this issue and want you to know we aren't ignoring this.

Can you all tell me one thing — when the loading progress halts or freezes, what does the text underneath the loading bar say?

It just stalls after 50% and even if I connect it often keep keeps disconnecting in the middle of the game..

Unfortunately, that doesn't directly answer the question. If you can tell us what text you see under the loading bar when its progress stalls, it might provide us clues about the problem.

Also, just to be clear, when it disconnects in the middle of the game, do you mean during the race? Can you describe what you see when this happens?
