Points for fastest lap
Slightly different suggestion because it talks about a fastest lap point for anyone finishing outside of the top 10.
The question I ask is why? What will it add to the game?
What will happen is that a whole bunch of cars who have no chance of winning will use no Boost throughout the race, they will pit and fit SS on the last but one lap and then on the final lap they will unload all of their Boost.
The team with the highest level Tech HQ will inevitably set the fastest lap and before long the forum will once again be flooded with complaints about yellow flags and VSC along the lines of...
It was the last race of the season and I was just about to set fastest lap when the VSC was deployed which stopped me Boosting. This has resulted in me not getting the point and now I've been relegated. What a sh*t game this is!
The above quote is a bit of a joke but seriously I still don't see how this would enhance the game.
