Darren, i have to say i don’t like the changes. 100 rep was the only bonus for winning a championship, now that would be reduced to 1 or 2 points?

How would that motivate us to win a championship?

The answers to the poll also suggested an alternative end of season reward, is this beeing looked at? Cause as it is, you took away the only thing we got for winning a season.

It's better to reset the reputation every 2 months instead of 1 month. Now the system made like everyone are having the same rookies tiers reputation. The prize (reputation) of winning championship should be higher than this. 17 is damn low...

Yes scaling also needs to be looked at. Whats the point in removing the 10000 cap if you cant ever reach it.

The strenght of the league has to be added as Well.

For example i finished one race p1 and p17, which is a solid result and would have lead in weaker leagues to p1 and At least p5, increased the lead in the Championship,
And gained 0 Reputation points.
At the Moment good managers in weak leagues have a big advantage over Top managers in strong leagues....
Another example my top competitors who finished 2 and 3 would have won the Championship with that Performance in nearly every other league and they are not in the Top 100 ....

every day an igp development wakes up with the intention of making the game worse ...... and it always succeeds. ps but the maximum number of races in a season is not 22?

Hi everyone,
From my understanding, the 17 rep for winning is higher if you are in Elite 2 car league. The 17 is based on a Pro manager in a 1 car League.
If I've calculated correctly, a 15 race, 2 car Elite champion should get 30 rep. This would then be higher if you do 22 races.

correct me if im wrong but the way its going in a few months all teams on the game will start at 5,000 reputation at start of the month? last month was 7,500, this month 6,700, so every team will be 5000 in a few months and every leagues average rep with be 5000, even the rookie tier average will be 5,000, is that correct as im not sure?

then if so a rookie tier manager can be ranked world number 1 unless there is different rep power in each tier (rookie/pro/elite)? as finishing P1&P2 in a rookie tier race would get the same ranking points as P1&P2 in Elite tier race..

Considering you as an example. You gained around 900 rep points in the last month. This means, maybe, that in the future you will have 5900 at the first of the month, 6800 at the end of the month, then again 5900->6800. Something like this I think, don't you agree?

yes i got 917 points this month (817 from races & 100 from our 1 end of season award)

yes you are correct i just got calculator out and thought about it more, if i kept having same performance/results/rep gains/winning id end up in a cycle like you say from starting from around 5,800 each month but thats if u kept having great seasons, couple of dodgy seasons and be back at 5,000 i think, alot of elite guys will end up at 5,000 though i think but not thought about it enough to be correct though?

First of all, I congratulate William on P1.
I think his reasoning is absolutely correct and I try to explain some more reasons than he reported.
1. Assuming that William continues to make the same results in the same league, the rep gain would be increasingly reduced, because his and especially his opponents' rep would be reduced.
2. William and Bastian did an excellent performance because they are two wonderful managers who are in two of the most competitive leagues in the game; if the difference in rep between the leagues tends to be more and more reduced over time, those who participate in less competitive leagues will tend to obtain better performances in the HoF because they can win all the races, which instead cannot happen in the most competitive leagues.

Leaving this discussion aside, I would like that leagues that play 4 or 5 races per week could also participate in the HoF competition. In this regard, I proposed that the rep earned for each race be multiplied by (7 / n), where n is the number of races scheduled each week. In this way, assuming that a manager wins all 5 weekly races, with the same league rep, he would always take the same final rep as the winner in a league with 7 scheduled races.

I understand very well that iGP wants to reward those who can play every day. But I think there are other ways to reward them. For example, you could give 3 tokens per race to those who make 6 or 7 races, 2 tokens to those who make 4 or 5, and 1 token to those who make less. In this way, or in other similar ways, those who play more are rewarded but everyone is allowed to participate in the HoF competition.

You may be rigth. In the season you lose rep points, another guy gains more... and it's difficult to know now how numbers will be... Anyway, I see two alternatives, the one you are saying, everyone will have 5000 rep,  or that we will have as a community an average rep points equal to a very small number, too close to 5000, since, as you said, you cannot always win (and, in my opinion, even 5800 is TOO TOO close to 5000)

it has become the ranking of managers who play the most, not the ranking of the strongest managers (without taking anything away from William). Just look at the Italian ranking where those who play in a low quality championship have won while managers like Paolo, Maiorca, Frank and many others are out of the top positions. The only solution is to ignore this ranking .... always thanks to the IGP staff. However, with this method, a manager who wins a Pro championship with 22 races will have more points than an elite manager who wins a championship with 15 races. congratulations, but I think you can still get worse.

I believe the HoF should be either reset every 2 or 3 months or there should be a cap. For example you can only lose max 800 points after a reset. If something like this doesn't get implemented then within about 4 to 6 months the best elite managers will start with 5500-5800 points. Which is way too close to rookie and makes the HoF basically worthless.

Also, please correct me if I'm wrong. But I thought the amount of rep you get depends on the average rep of the league. So if you race in a a league with high average you automatically get more rep than in a league with low average.

Thats what i mean with strenght of the league has to be added.

When one of these managers finish 10th they should get the same Reputation like someone in a weaker league who wins.
I watched a race yestersay of the guy who finished 4th in the hall of Fame Ranking, he was the only Person who was online yesterday.....
The Problem with that suggestion is, that in a couple of Weeks everyone will start with 5000 points and rookie managers of inactive leagues will be on Top....

What makes you say that is now one or two points? It would only be that in a rookie 3 or 4 car league doing a short calendar

In Elite Tier 16/16, 22races/22..the first gains 50 and the third (the first that didn't gain anything in the previous system) 44. Only +6 points, compared to +100 that we had before... it's the same, 1,2 or 6..

just scrap the HOF, it brings nothing to the game and is clearly a problem.

i looked at it yesterday and there are managers high in the rankings with more DC in a season than races yet they have 8k points, lol

give us more strategy not gimmicks

Its the principle Darren, I’m trying to explain the motivation to win a league will be gone if the award for winning the league is just a few rep points.

If you want me to, i can change the amounts in my original suggestion but the problem remains the same entirely
