Suggested
Live qualifying

Should there be a live qualifying, where you can see the qualifying ON TRACK, instead of the results where you view it?

38.46% (40)
Yes.
8.65% (9)
Maybe.
27.88% (29)
Nope.
3.85% (4)
I don't know.
21.15% (22)
Yes, with live gaps and cars.

Title says it all. I suggest live qualifying, where you can watch qualifying live instead of viewing the results when finished. Here's an example:
With 9m 56s to go, qualifying starts. There will be a button that says "Watch Live Qualifying".
When it ends, there will be a new button that replaces "Watch Live Qualifying". It will say "Go to race", but you KNOW about that.

If implemented by iGP in an update, I will write a note on another forum post, in the discussion section.

The TV camera will be added in future updates (I read this somewhere). I think we could watch qualifying.

Yes, I came up with this post,

"I think it would be cool for leagues to have the option to have a qualifying session, for however long the league chooses. The managers would have buttons like "send out" and "bring in" along with the fuel level, tyre choice and push level. For example, I probably want my drivers to go on the minimum push level on the in lap and maximum push level during their qualifying lap."

I got 29 Likes and we still haven't heard anything from the devs on live qualifying.

I also like your version because it could save time.

This is in the wrong thread I think, suggestion above just visualises what we already have, very good suggestion IMO as there is no manager interaction.

Your suggestion does suggest manager interaction which I don’t like because I don’t have the time to be online prior to race, that would be a disadvantage to me

I think it is cool, but would punish inactive players too much. Instead I think we should have simulated quali with sessions. What this means is that you have Q1, Q2, Q3 for leagues with more than 15 players in a division. In Q1, only top 15 progress. In Q2, you have to use race tire and top 10 progress, before shoot-out for track position in Q3. In smaller divisions, we could have Q2 but labelled Q1 with race tire before shoot-out in Q3.

My suggestion is that when setup closes, you can watch the cars qualify on one run, your car will be full opacity while the others semi-transparent, and also there will be no usage of boost or DRS and also no dirty air

in my league we are 33 ( yes 33 ahaha ) and sometimes some Player score point to not get back in pro and they go inactive after that , and  player who  was pro in last saison can be behind because they dont have a better car in quali

No. One reason I love this game is that it does not demand exorbitant amounts of time.

At most before the start of the race they can show the starting grid line up with the photo of each driver with the car. Similar to the F1 race this morning where they go through the starting grid.

If you read the post, he clearly says that it starts right after setup closes

Waste of time. I've seen other games do this then eventually people ask why they can't help with tire warm up. Eventually we have a whole game mode before the race. Slippery slope. Current method isn't broke

Be careful what you wish for.
Realtime practice could come along and you be sitting waiting 3-4 minutes on the car to return to pits to see lap time and fuel and tyre info. That will put an end to people doing setup & strategy a few seconds before lockdown 😆

Maybe instead of controlling it you choose PL in advanced strategy for quali. I was doing that until I was told by someone on the forum that it doesn’t have an effect.

Maybe a qualy 10mins before the race and if you use a little bit of your tire and you can change the tire after the qualy and before the race but you get a penaltie positions if you are in the top 10 like the real f1
