Hi,

I'm here to report what seems to be a bug. What happens is that the 3 tokens transfer seems to glitch when I try to buy a staff member by it.

It's seems that when I "Quick sell" a DC (Design Chef) it's not able to be transfered to another account, meaning that the 3 tokens transfer is not able to be done. What it shows to me is a cross, similar to when the staff member has retired already, and no information to why is that cross in there. I checked to see if the DC was indeed retired and he wasn't, how I did this was going back to the account that previously had the DC and bought it back, this time there was no problem with the 3 tokens transfer, meaning that the bug only happens when I try to move the staff member between accounts using this type of transfer.

At the end of the day I just selled the DC by the bid system and bought it in the other account using the quick buy that costs 9 tokens. I was annoyed since, due to this bug, I couldn't use my tokens the way I always have done before and having to use more tokens because of it.

I hope to see this issue resolved so this don't happen to a player who don't have that many tokens to spend freely like I do. This can really hurt someone's experience with the game.

Hi,

If the staff member has never been in your team, you can’t buy it outside of an auction.

It has been changed recently and explained in this changelog :


Free-agent Drivers and Staff can no longer be bought outside of an Auction. The exception to the rule is if a driver or staff member has ever been in your team before, then you may re-sign them. The capability to sign any free agent was being abused via browser scripts that scan all possible URLs, hoarding the best drivers and staff, with the aim of preventing other managers from accessing them. Such antics are no longer possible. We will also be looking in to improvements to the transfers system to offer more ways to access a wider range of drivers and staff.

Does this apply to a staff member that was in your team before but since has been moved around other teams aswell?

Like, "Staff Member A" is with "Team A", "Team A" sells "Staff Member A" to "Team B", some time passes, the 2021-07-07 patch comes in and now "Staff Member A" is with "Team C", the former is trying to sell "Staff Member A" back to "Team A", is "Team A" able to buy "Staff Member A" for 3 Tokens or do they need to be bought via the Auction system?

Yes, "Team A" should be able to buy "Staff Member A".

Any team he has ever worked for can re-sign him using « buy now ».

There is also a new limit : you can’t have more than 5 CD / 5 DT / 5 DR in your team.
