What did you try to do?
I took over the host after a vote and we finished the season so I changed the tracks to give it a different shape but the setting and put refuelling on and taken away 2 tyre compound can this be changed or do I have to finish the season ??

Hello,

Changes made by a league host to a league's calendar or the race rules only take effect for the following season. This is why your league has remained the same despite you changing the rules. 
If you change the rules now, the changes will take effect in the next season.

I understand that but why did it change in the first place I only changed the tracks nothing else ??

Hello,
It appears that your league was affected by the bug where the league rules would reset themselves when a new season was generated, meaning the league host had to set their custom rules every season. Unfortunately, I am not sure that the support team will be able to change your league rules as the season has already started. 
The bug with league rules has been fixed by the developers however it will only have taken affect for seasons which started after the fix was released. 
Sorry for any inconvenience this issue will cause. 


Below is the extract from Changelog #103 which details the changes fix by the developers surrounding the issue.
"Fixed custom league rules reverting to defaults for new seasons - it seems the source was the league settings having defaults checked instead of custom rules. This meant hosts accidentally overwrote custom rules when saving other league settings."
