What did you try to do?
Last race i started with wets due to quali strategy and it dried up just before the race. i then pitted on lap one and swapped wets for softs. then went the rest of the race on softs stints. In my view I fulfilled the 2 tyre rule as I used softs and wets.
What happened instead?
My driver got disqualified for not fulfilling the 2 tyre rule. Wets are definitely a second tyre entry so I do not understand why the disqualification. This should be reverted and my p1 re awarded

The 2 tyres rule is applied to dry tyres. There are similar threads. I agree that this rule must be reviewed. The game doesn't detect if track is wet but only if it's raining and in the end it never rained during your race. Since wet tyres are not an advantage in dry races I think they should be considered in the two tyres rule but while it says "dry" tyres...

The rule states that in a dry race 2 dry compounds must be used. As can be found here

As you have rightly identified it was a dry race but unfortunately you didn’t use two dry compounds. So this is not a bug.
Personally I agree that the rule is counter intuitive and should be reviewed, as why should you be penalised for using two tyre types just because one was wet.

the rule doesn’t make sense. the wording is wrong. 2 tyres should be used unless there is a wet race declared. there is no need nor advantage on using a wet compound on a dry race and there are too many occasions where rain clears up in the minutes just before the race start. if someone like me started on wets because of this it is already a big punishment having to pit on lap 1 so the very least would be considering the 2nd tyre has been followed as the driver used 2 different compounds.
the 2 tyre compound rule is there to avoid all-softs runs as usually has happened. there must be an exception on wet races of course since you can’t force to use a non working compound. but there is no point on forcing 2 tyre compounds to be of the “dry” kind to enforce the rule.
the rule should be reviewed and fixed
