Most of the drivers in the market right now are 1 star drivers. Let's be honest. What level 13 manager is going to hire a level 2 or 3 driver? It just clogs up the market and makes it annoying. I'm suggesting we make the drivers only equal to our level and maybe one or two levels less. For example, a level 14 manager is going to see mostly 14s with a few 13s and 12s in there.

Agree with your points but there are some reasons people would hire lower level drivers (saving in-game money, etc.) - this is still a good idea

Not saying get rid of them entirely. Maybe keep one or two. But looking at my market right now, every single one except for 3 are 1 stars.

With drivers it isn't the star rating you need to worry about, it's the Talent rating. In fact, a low level (low star) high talent driver would be a great purchase. Signing fee and wages would be low because costs seem to be linked to level.

The problem here is that the low star rated drivers in the market also appear to be very low talent. Like you say Harry, what's the point? Nobody in their right mind is going to hire them if they want to be competitive.

Steven. If you really are concerned with saving money, simply don't renew the contract of your driver. When the contract expires your driver will leave and you will automatically receive a low-level replacement.

Thanks for clarifying Kevin - I agree with that statement, people who want to be competitive shouldn't hire 1-star drivers

I couldn't have said it better. Is there going to be a possibility of this being added?

I'm not aware of any plans to update the transfer market in the foreseeable future, the Devs are fully focussed on gameplay updates such as driver traits and increasing the level range. Read more here... Blog - The New Road Ahead

The easy solution is to ignore the transfer market, develop your YDA and directly promote in-house drivers. In the long run it is more cost effective because their starting salary is very low. But be prepared for a big hit in tokens if you're lucky enough to scout a T20 driver.
