What did you try to do?
Me and a bunch of other people from my league started on intermediate tires and then switched to mediums as the rain stopped.

What happened instead?
All of us who went on a strategy like this ended up being disqualified at the end of the race. Why did this disqualification happen as we had used 2 different tire types as the tire rules was supposed to be allowing to do?

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?
Both

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?
Both

What is the model of your device?

What is the version number of the operating system?

What operating system is your PC?

Which browser did you experience the problem in?

Can the bug be reproduced?
We had the same accident some time ago but it had never as many people as it did tomorrow.

Hi Michael.

What I suspect has happened is that rain did not fall during the race itself and you were in a drying track situation. If rain does not fall during the race then it will be classified as a dry race, even if there is water on the track.

This combines with the two tyre rule which states that in a dry race you must use two Dry tyre compounds. So only Super soft, Soft, Medium and Hard count towards the two tyre rule.

League rules guide can be found here for backup on this.

https://igpmanager.com/forum-thread/48988

I’ve reviewed the strategies used by your league and all those disqualified failed to use two dry tyre compounds. So unfortunately this is not technically a bug, the rules have been implemented correctly by the system.

I do feel for you though, it’s not a natural thought process to think of it as a dry race when there is still water on the track.

Same thing happened in our league today - it was raining at the start of the race, actual rain in graphics etc. It stopped then some of them just used one dry tyres and they are all disqualified.

Hi Michiko.

Could you be specific for me. When exactly did the rain stop.

After the race had physically started or while you were on the grid waiting for the lights to go out?

Also if you could start a fresh post for this specific issue please I’d appreciate it.

Hey,

On manager reporting it was raining when the flag dropped and stopped at approx start of lap 2.

Thank you Jamie, as rain fell during the race I have flagged for support to review.

I don't think this is the same root cause as experienced on the original post which is why I requested a fresh thread.
