Sad to see the game is continuously being changed to get more and more benefits from buying and spending tokens. To win or not to win is much more dependent on how many tokens you spend than it was earlier. Although I like the kind of changes that were done (f.e. when the special abilities for the drivers came up). Now I additionaly have the option to boost my TD but with low effect and a very high prize.
Surely the developers need their income. And I have spent tokens in the past. But meanwhile we've reached a level where the managers who are not being able (or are not willing to) invest money have a clear disadvantage to others. It wasn't like that in earlier days.
The issues began with the ten additional levels, because a newcomer now needs to spend at least 2 years to become competitive and tell me who nowadays has the stamina to race without success for such a long period.
Seriously interested newcomers rush through inactive rookie and pro classes to end up with a level 12 account in Elite and then they get bored because they got lapped in each race, 90% of them are leaving the game after a certain time.
Of course IGP developers, web designers and all the other staff are not working for free, only to provide us a rather good game.
Therefore i spent little money from time to time to support them, although its not mandatory for me.
But at least the communities expectation is, that a game improves from time to time, e.g. new tracks, new game features, which really have an impact (give cooling and reliability a meaning), not features like the dumb pit crew idea.
Personally i also dont need an updated car livery or new hats in the shop,
I would pay some more money, if i would notice real changes or at least that they are removing eternal exisiting bugs, like the pit stop issues.
