League started 2011, closing..

It has been a fun time, but the day has come. After declining interest from the core players, one of the oldest iGP leagues - the oldest that was still in operation, League of Rooks, is closing down after 14 years. League ID was #13. 
We ran 100% races once a week, which is how iGP is best enjoyed. :)

A true relic in this game, a real shame that the League of Rooks is in the process of closing down.

I remember stumbling across your league when I ran the Highest Average League Rankings (Global List) and was amazed by the sheer anomality that such a low league ID still existed (the next oldest league was in the 800s, started c. late 2012), and impressed that back then, there were 2 full leagues running (Pro and Elite) full of dedicated managers.

I wish there was a way to put a postponement date really far into the future. For the moment I removed the last players, put a password on the league and put a postponement date 14 May. If we wanna restart it, at some point, I would have to login every third week or so and move the date. I probably will have to leave the league and let it die instead.

I haven't left the league yet, but since it has been difficult to get people to join lately and we were only five players in the last season, I don't see much reason to not let it disappear soon. But it would be fun if it could be populated and restarted again as having an "antique" league to live on.
