Winning auctions but not hiring staff

Hi i seem to be winning action on staff but they don't seem to be coming to me. after the 3 one I decided to put the staff on my short list and see what happens the staff is still showing as free with no team and when I click on the staff its showing me as bidded but that's it

lost tokens bidding on more staff to try to get staff to improve my staff if that makes sense

The same is happening here. Despite a bid, well two now since I wanted to know what happens, this driver gets relisted for sale after time runs out again and again.

Being logged on or having the transfer tab open doesn't change this but it appears it does work if you have the auction tab of that driver/staff open at the time the auction time runs out, I don't know if it's enough to have the drivers description window open, will try after work if he's still there then.

I do have found better drivers already so I don't mind the delay or the two tokens for that matter.

Almost forgot this one, it happens to this staff I bid on yesterday as well. He attracted two more manager over the course of the night but still roams free:

This is also happening to me, I should have 3 docters level 7 by now..

Earlier in the game, if I bid on staff, it went away from the list but appeared in my own staff list a few hours later.
Maybe this was also a bug, but a bug I beneift from ;) So I assumed it happened again, but no. Nothing to track either.

I shortlisted on of the docters, i saw me winning the auction but it remained free.
I can buy it though for 3 tokens, and i did.

Its happening to me too with this driver. I won the auction nearly 10 hours ago I think, and it took my token, but I never got the driver, and it just keeps getting relisted for sale. Sometimes it'll say there's no bids, but if I refresh it still shows that I have the highest bid.

How come no 1 has got back to us yet as to why and how to solve it. I'm missing some tokens or staff not impressed.

Unfortunately some bids were lost during a bidding update. Freddie and others, if you let me know the number of tokens that were lost I can reinstate them (plus some extra on the house). I do apologise for the inconvenience.

2 tokens were lost with bidding on staff I didn't get and 3 tokens for claiming the tracked bid that I won. So that makes 5.

Is the best idea now that if I want a driver or staff that I should buy now instead of put in a bid? And will you guys let us know when the bug is fixed?

No problem. The bid server should be fine for now so I recommend bidding as normal. Let me know if there are any issues.

Jack's made another change so it's going to need another update at some point in the next few weeks. I'll let people know on here in advance. It would probably be a good idea for us to disable transfers so people don't lose tokens.

Thanks Ricky. I think it was 3 tokens here but I'm not sure if overbidding myself in an attempt to find out if it works this time did cost another token or not. So it might have been only 2.

Thanks for the generous refund. :) Just hired a new TD and everything is working very well again.

Sadly I see this topic now :( I got this a while ago but it only cost me 2 tokens. It said I won but the staff wasn't added to my list. It was weird but I accepted it. Later I bought a new one and that worked.

Next time I will report strange behaviour of the game. :)
