Race doesn't run on time

Let me know if it's better tonight because I made several upgrades today that should make a difference.

Some races will start about 10 minutes late again most likely today. No changes to the system. It's only at peak times. The rest of the day it is fine.

It's related to load on the server. We're working to get more servers online tomorrow so I hope this will be the last day of these issues, but the servers we're preparing are not stable yet and need more testing.

A little update: I did what I could with what we have available at the moment, managed to squeeze an extra 10-15% out of the current setup. I hope it helps. Let me know if you see any improvement tonight, since that will be quite encouraging for such a small change. It will bode well for the much larger increases in capacity that are on the way.

If you see practice get any slower, I wouldn't be surprised. I sacrificed a bit of practice lap capacity for races.

EDIT: Also intentionally made the go to race button show up a little later to avoid not being able to connect.

The busiest time (most likely to have delays) is between 6pm GMT and 10pm GMT.

I hope we will have a more permanant solution within days, and people I spoke to tonight said their races were only 2-5 minutes late, while most ran on time. There did seem to be an improvement, but as I said I wasn't expecting much change tonight.

We were looking for quicker solutions to this pretty much all day. We have some solutions but they can't be implemented until peak times have already begun, sadly.

I think by tomorrow things will have improved a lot. Stay tuned. :)
