So how does one earn money to pay things?

Hi everybody,
I'm new around here and I'm only at my 2nd race ever. By the way I finished 1st-3rd and 1st-2nd (I can't get what's wrong with my Championship since I consistently go 1 or 2 seconds a lap faster than the others...) and I received no prizes.
Is this normal? Am I supposed to be rewarded with a few dollars after finishing a race successfully? If not, how do I earn money? Since I've already spent 1.2 millions after just two races...

And also, is it normal that I can't have any sponsors? The two that I can see offer nothing. Is this a bug?

If you go the finances tab and then select sponsors, there should be an option to sign sponsors. Are you not seeing that?

As I said, I suppose it's bugged but my sponsor tab is useless. I can't find a way to attach a screenshot here, but I only see:
Main sponsor: 0 coins, 0 bonus;
Secondary sponsor: 0 bonus, 0 bonus.

Nothing at all. Is this how it's supposed to be? Even if I'm the leader of the championship?

And BTW I have just won another race (1st - 2nd) with no rewards. How can I keep playing if I only spend without earning? Jack, please help?

You need to press Firma to look at all the sponsors willing to sign a contract with you. Have you tried that?

I am not familiar with the language you are using, but where it says Firma, it should have a word translated meaning "Sign".

Is Firma the correct word?

Yes you got it right. Firma is the italian term for sign (in fact in the English version, the button must report "Sign", so it's the same button :) ).
I know I might look stupid, but no, I haven't tried to click on it. I suppose that I should be aware of the terms of a contract before signing it. So I suppose that I should be able to see what sponsor is offering what. I'm just afraid that I click on it, and then being stuck in a bug with a sponsor slot occupied, with no rewards. Should I just go ahead? Is it normal that I can't see any different offer?

When you hit sign you are given a list of sponsors to pick. There is nothing fancy beyond that. You pick who based on what you want as income / bonus.

Hi Pacha, how many races are remaining in the contracts with your sponsors? Can you provide a photo as well by any chance?

I guess, due to the confusion it might be good to switch "Sign" for "Look for Sponsors" or simply "Search". Because I could see the confusion of seeing "Sign" and thinking, "zero tokens, zero dollars? No way I want to sign that!"

I'm using this thread to get some help. I'm in financial trouble, I got 1st and 3rd last GP and even by hitting the sponsor target I'm losing money each race (-100k$) I don't have any reserve driver nor reserve staff so costs are the minimum I can have to be competitive, what can I do? I've also chosen the sponsor with less bonus money but more "money per race"

If you want to save a few thousand don't renew staff contracts let them run out and sign them again. Stops wages increasing. Keep in mind I said STAFF not DRIVERS. Drivers wages will go through the roof if you let it run out and sign them again.

mh okay converting tokens is fine if really needed, I just wish I could sustain myself with just money.

About contracts, I've already signed my young talented driver for 50 races, while the other has 20 remaining but I'll sell him once he's done
