Hi all,
i'm playing since a few months and this game makes a lot of fun. I developed my account to status "elite" but in the highest class i'm strugling and i don't understand the reason.
In the car comparrison i'm not far behind the best car, over all areas.
But:
I'm not able to create a working strategy. I tried different approaches but nothing works for me:
- Browsing other leagues and taking the strategy which was most in the top 5; or the strategy of the winning team.
- Calculating the fastest strategy based on training lap times.
- doing it by feeling
--> Nothing works for me.
Big points of uncertainty:
- what teamperature areas for which tire?
- how much costs fuel per lap?
Sometimes its better for the result to do a longer term; in the next race its totally wrong and two shorter terms would lead to better results.
Can you give me a few hints?
Thx and KR

Find drivers with higher talent ratings, as most other teams who are winning in Elite are the ones with drivers whose talent ratings are 10+.

Ohhh damn it. Both of my drivers have well values over all bedides talent. It's a 2 for both of them. Thats a really good hint.
Just for explanation: Why is a good driver without talent unable to win?
edit: is it able to buy drivers on the market or do I need to find them as my youth academy hasn't been build yet.

Is one stop really faster than the suggested two stops?
Would you not have more tyre options doing the two stops instead of one?
I would of thought the weight of fuel would of levelled it out to nearly the same as taking an extra 17-18 seconds stop.
There is always uncertainty with weather temps but look at from another point of view, the tracks tyre wear rate is only 1 or 2% different between 10 & 39 degrees. It influences push level more than the tyre choice I think.
We could get technical and dive into the building of the car, TE has a say in tyre choice too & drivers themselves their setup leans towards a tyre choice.
But it's only a game there is no point in getting technical and destroying the fun or trying this or that.

Hey James,
thanks for your feedback. Is there any chance to see the tyre temperature after the race? I noticed that i can happen very fast that tyres overhead, if the track is too hot and the tyre is too soft for the temperature.
That was the reason of asking for a perffered temp. window of tyres.

There is mist on the window. Unless you watch the race, it's never gonna be clear.
I could be running around on push level 2 with hard tyres at 29 degrees and you could be running around on push level 3 or 4 at 29 degrees. Different drivers and different cars.

Because of my car build I spent most of the on push level 2 and that just doesn't normally happen in Monaco unless is very warm & that race wasn't warm
