Weather Unknown?

hi there,

i wonder what happens if the actual race condition remains like quoted below.  
Thats the actual weather condition in our league:

\"Condition: Unknown
-18°C, Wind: at 0 mph, Humidity: 0%\"
If iGP is not able to receive weatherdata from google during the race, what happens?
is there a default weather condition which jumps in?

There's a link to my race and my tyres are not getting hot at all and I am pushing hard :D : D

I've just done the fastest lap of the race and I am aiming for the track record now :D

Yup, quite a funny stuff.

It seems the connection has been restored so my advice no longer applies.

Anyway that was a funny 30 minutes of free speed for all who where on soft tyre and 2D.

Still have this problem here while preparing to race in Brazil...

Race is in a couple of hours. Don't know if this will be solved before...?

Most obvious thing to do would be to check the weather on weather sites? Although, anything I checked said today would be dry for suzuka, japan, and now its been raining every time ive checked...

igp weather brazil right now: 31°C, Wind: NE at 9 mph, Humidity: 40%so tyre wear must be very high. 
@IGP Staff: can we get a statement about the "unknown weather" condition please?
It's one of the last races of our league and some league members are still fighting for ranks in our league. 
It would be a pitty if someone looses a relegation rank due to a glitch.

No, the weather is tied to what google says, if it says -18°C then it counts for the race. I made the fault in the beginning of my season looking on weather sites but then noticed that google weather was often different. For example rain on a weather site and no rain in the IGP ( google ) live weather. So i can't recommend using weather sites at all. Best  thing is prepare 5 minutes before preparation is locked, this gives you funny adrenaline rushes too :D

Does this mean that Ethan's funny stuff is still possible or corrected ?

Not sure if this should be in the bugs section or whether this is an actual situation?

Just setting up for Brazil, weather was clear during first 4 set-up runs but then the weather changed to the above? Will this affect the setup or is it safe to ignore?

Same temp and unkown for me aswell. But from Italy.
never had the problem before i had the weather station but of course i now do.
i know this thread is now pretty old.... Just adding :D
