The problem: JavaScript is not loading on iOS devices, so anyone with a browser on an iPhone, iPad or even an iPod, this task is for you.

The specific page that we want to get working on iOS devices is the live timing, example linked below:
http://igpmanager.com/play/?url=race-live/2059

It should be loading JavaScript and displaying live timing, however, on iOS devices JavaScript is not loading, resulting in only qualifying results showing.

If you can supply information that leads to our JavaScript functioning on iOS devices, we will send you a free 3 month 2D Pack subscription! We don\'t have any iOS devices to test it on, which is why we\'re looking for someone with an iOS device to step forward to assist us. It is important for us to support for these devices but we have no way to test them currently.

Ok. The easiest way to help out is to open the URL I put in the original post and see if there are any JavaScript errors in the console.

If you do any web development (especially JavaScript) yourself then that will be even better, as you may recognize the console error and what it means. If not just post anything that comes up here.

There isn\'t a single error, acording to the console (not in iOS, not in Windows 7, Chrome)

Can you try it now and let me know if it works? Try refreshing the cache if it doesn\'t work at first.

Ok, I got it working on my iphone but I had to use other browser than safari.
(I am using skyfire as a browser and also the \"Live!\" text is correct instead of numbers.
Maybe the problem is not on ios but safari browser.

I know you requested to know if it works on the iPhone/ipod but I tried the link on my Zune HD and the page loads just fine.

Well
<span id=\"igpCountDown\">1324299600 </span> gives you time till Live and if that time is past then it gives you LIVE text. On my iPhone it says \"Turkish iGP (29 laps) - 1324299600\". So it can happen only when that java script is not activated on load.

And

<div id=\"liveRaceTiming\">Loading...</div> Stay \"Loading...\" because exactly same problem. So question is why these scripts are not activated.

I dont know where exactly that code is but i suspect \"
http://igpmanager.com/system/addon/igp/igp.js\" is using these values? Looks like there is problems with jquery and safari browser.

Debug console gives no errors.

That\'s right Kalle.

And Rasmus seems to have narrowed it down to Safari, not just iOS in general, the plot thickens... I\'ll install Safari on my PC and see if it is the browser and not iOS at all.

I\'ll get back to you on this later or tomorrow. I\'ll have to read up on how Safari works on iOS to understand where it\'s going wrong.

In the meantime, if there are any developers reading this who know what I should be looking for, feel free to post for a shot at a free 2D pack.

I get one error. \"http://igpmanager.com/system/addon/igp/igp.js\" line 794.
\"console.log(FB);\"

Time on bottom of pages are also only timestamp.

Well, Opera has the same problem on iOS/iPhone 4... so it\'s not just Safari.

I was thinking some tomeout but thats not possible with countdown thing. Race time is know from beginning and need only calculating.

I readed about <ul> <li> problems about safari. Like I see u use these in design file. <span> and <div> had no problems. Maybe that helps? That means u need another design for iPhones/iOS :P
