What do you use when managing?

A lot of the best managers use dots (maybe in the old version of the game viewing cars wasn't possible, I can't remember), but really the best of both worlds is dots when zoomed out, cars when zoomed in, I can respect a manager that does that. But I never zoom in, so dots only it is!

Also dots here. Viewing cars was possible in the old version. Mananiging 2 cars with dots is way more effective and easier than cars.

I cant stand the dots, i find them way to big and i perfur to look at evebody  liveries 

My default is max zoom in and show cars. But I often zoom out (like once per 1-3 laps)to get an overview with the dots.

What a random post, lol ... I used the cars in the old version, in this new version I use the dots because I think it's better to visualize.

I tend to zoom in and out throughout the race. I'm usually on PC so the mouse scroll makes it quick and easy. I do have a question for you all though...

Does anyone know how to change the color of your dot? I figured it would be associated with the livery editor. I started my career with a red car/red dot. I edited my car paint scheme to black/dark blue/black and thought the dot would also become black (or maybe dark blue), but the dot is still red. Thanks for the help.

Hi Lightning ;-) To change the colour of your dot:

• Click 'Team' from the main left tab


• Then click 'Edit'


• And finally click 'Team Colour', and choose the one you want :-)

And on the topic of 'Dots' vs 'Cars', 'Dots' mostly all the way here! xD Better to see the gaps (in my opinion) 'Cars' used for better visualisation/graphics for other viewers, ie. streams, recordings :-)

Follow the step by step to edit the point: 1. Open the categories; 2. click on "team"; 3. click on "edit" and edit the color of your team to that of your preference; 4. Click "save". ready!

Wow closer than I thought! I have used cars all my life so I can judge the gaps better than dots

I zoom out and use the dots, I feel it gives a better perspective of what’s going on round about you

I prefer the dots also, gives me better understanding of what happens in the race

Yep! There are settings in the race, changing dots to cars, sounds, etc

I use both but mostly cars because I like looking at the cars for battles because with dots you don't know how close you were to overtaking the car so you might waste boost. With gaps to the cars behind I use the standings for that. I'm on mobile so it's much easier for me to look right rather than zoom in and out- plus, it's more accurate. However one thing I do like about the dots is that if I want to see the gap to the car like 8 positions back it's much easier for me to zoom out and see where they are instead of counting up the constantly changing gaps.

I used to use cars but now use dots as that allows me to see what position I’m in instantly without having to look at the timing screen mess of green and red arrows
