A lot of the best managers use dots (maybe in the old version of the game viewing cars wasn't possible, I can't remember), but really the best of both worlds is dots when zoomed out, cars when zoomed in, I can respect a manager that does that. But I never zoom in, so dots only it is!

I hardly ever zoom out.

Dots only and zoomed out fully for me. I only need to know what other cars are doing, i know where my cars are so the zoomed out full track view is perfect for full understanding of what is going on on track. I don't even click on my cars when using a browser so the track is static and not following an individual car around the track

What is the use of zooming in? All you can see is a couple of corners.

I also used cars when I was managing in previous seasons. But, I change to dots when managing my car and I found this way is helpful. To close the gap, I will watch gap between leader and I will use boost when I'm going to DRS train (if the front car and me is close in terms of gap)
