I completely agree with William. Ive played this game over a year now, and for the most part of it has been really fun with new updates to tracks, car design and custom calendar. But for a month now i started falling out of love for game with so many bugs. Pitting still hasnt been patched and also its frustrating when you lose 5 places in 1 corner. It may seem very little but for the hardcore players who put so much effort into working out the best way to succeed in this game. Its getting beyond bearable now!!

Agree 1000% Level 14 in a League full of Level 18'2 to 20's. I score points, but this happens to me at least once in every 3 races. The most annoying part of the game. It should be the No1 priority.

As I'm the dev that is for the most part maintaining the simulation code I can only apologise for the amount of time it has taken to investigate and attempt to resolve this issue.

Please remember we are a small team and we don't have the big budget of a AAA game to hire a big amount of developers to look into bugs and at the same time develop features to keep us ahead our or at least on par with out competitors.

To this point, we have recently, as noted by Jack in his forum post recently, have been working on what we believed we needed to, to help the game and the business in the future. Meaning we have been working on other parts of the game and services. The simulation was put to the side for the most part on this with nobody really having the time to fully investigate the issues reported.

We have been listening to the community and addressing what we can. We have got to a point now where we can start putting our energy and concentration on the reported issues with the simulation. Like the 'Prape' bug, qualifying, flags and safety car bugs that have come up since around christmas time.

Over the next few days I'm hoping to do another patch to the back end race simulation that should go towards the prape bug fix. It may not completely fix the issue outright but because there is so many variables and complexity to the race simulations a bug like Prape could be down to more than one issue having a knock on affect to others.

I would also ask to the person that mentioned about the 5 cars overtaking in one corner, is this a recent race? This bug was reported before the latest update went live and should be resolved. Do you have a race id where you saw this behaviour and I can look into the logs.

Please do remember we are listening and we are addressing your issues , it just takes a time due to the size of our team and we will get there.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Darren, pls test this patch carefully before putting it out there. Bad memories spring to my mind when i read IT-people (no disrespect) using words like ‘patches’ and ‘hotfixes’ with a ‘knock-on-effect’.

In my experience (other games but also in my professional life) these solutions, when not properly tested, solve one issue but create more problems or bugs then they solve.  If not properly tested, these  are the kind of patches that have the ability to cause mayhem and ruin races or seasons.

And i wouldn’t like that because i’m totally hooked. For which i have to say: well done, you guys created a great game. Easy to learn hard to master, well balanced, no adds forced upon us, thats darn hard to accomplish. Also, no childish features like having to collect boxes for engine parts or famous drivers.  Last but not least: it doesn’t give me headaches which is pretty rare (i suffer from migraine pretty easily).

So please don’t overwhelm us with new bugs by trying to resolve old bugs, thats all i’m asking for.
Thx in advance

Have to agree completely that fixing the pit bug and racing bugs should be higher priority than anything else
People have put money and time into the game but you risk losing large waves of your community if you continue to allow such a major flaw exist in the game race after race.

Whilst I understand your comments regarding a small team and resources, I would suggest to review your priorities and listen to what people are telling you.
It does appear that no amount of raising this issue by a multiple of players has prompted you to respond in a meaningful manner and fix the issue.
You should not hide behind the constant excuse of being a small team as a justification to allow this problem to continue.
If it persists , I will be leaving the game as I am sure many have and will do going forward.

Appreciate it, for what it's worth.

It's a damn good game, but when you compete against much higher teams & you're invested in the game, it's twice as annoying when this happens. I just raced Monaco & got hit with the Pit Stop Bug 2 out of three stops. I fell out of the points.
I appreciate the effort you put in, but Please get it right lol
Thank you.

Off of the start of the Europe gp I lost 5 or 6 places.

priorities.

don't add new till the old is fixed, its really kinda simple.

how can you add new features when the old bugs still exist, of course new features will not work correctly if mixed with bugs, if the engine of my car is broken adding new tyres wont make it better.

@ Darren;

The "we are a small team" phrase can't work forever. It is precisely because you have a small team that your business plan model shouldn't move to undiscovered frontiers(new features=more maintenance) till well known disruptions continue to be left for another day.

Thought I would post another message confirming that again tonight I got hit with the pit bug
Went in 3rd in a line , came out 6th
Then to finish off the job it flashed up for me to pit and drove me straight past the pits resulting in me finishing 16th when I was 9th at the time

I am sure this will result in zero action but thought I would post it anyway

One solution to this could be if there was a fixed length animation for a pitstop, so cars do not interact with other cars in the pitlane it is all just visual. This way we could all have equal stops and the simulator wouldn't have to simulate anything. Only issue I would see is that this does not account for people who have run out of fuel in the pits being slower, but maybe that isn't needed!

I agree that could be a solution, would be better if they had true pit lanes and times but the game doesn’t offer this as something we can influence so I think your idea is spot on
Either make it a full development feature that we can work on or remove it completely in terms with f relevance

Hello managers,

Recently we introduced a fix for the pit stop blockages issue. How’s the situation now? Please only report issues related to pit stops in the last 5 days.

Couldn't record it because of connection issues but pit blocking is still a thing. Experienced it in my race just a few minutes ago

Hello Leo,

This suggest that your sync wasn’t good enough and you see the cars position erratically. We’ll wait for another feedback with a better scenario to open an investigation. I fully trust you but this may be related to your network and not the simulation.

Calm down  you just need to separate you divers by 5 seconds then you can pit them on the same lap or put them on different strategies for a undercut and overcut
