I"m in your league James, and have just been promoted to Elite after one season in each of the previous tiers, I'm level 12 and I do agree it feels like I"ve promoted too soon. The only thing giving me hope of scraping a half way decent first season in Elite is is the two guys who were noobs last season and mid teen level managers and they both did well (they then left and joined a different league)
Also not likely to be staying around if it is going to take anything like 3 to 4 seasons to see any top 10 finishes, or decent point scores! So I tend to agree the idea seems good. I"ll also agree with the statement of being glad the I"m not a developer, what a nightmare!
But, in saying that I don't want another tier, as it will mess up my results thingy......

Hey man ? thats exactly my point, it’s too easy to win rookie and pro 2 seasons in a row and then come up to elite and your doomed. I’m pretty sure the people who have been promoted the last few seasons aren’t currently active as lost motivation from finishing like 20th at best. It will take you around 5 seasons to get a point, we probably have 12 level 20s in the league. If there was an in between league, youd maybe need to spend 2/3 seasons there (where you’d be getting points easier, to keep you motivated) and then by then maybe up to level 15/16 and able to compete more in elite. Just trying to suggest ways to stop people getting to elite then just quit pretty much
