That’s not what you was saying to me Matt. You said they were old and outdated, You preferred wind turbines as you don’t live in the past.

This isn't 1066. We're civilized people, and as such, we can't use ancient technology like that, use wind turbines!

The wheel is also ancient technology, cant we use that anymore? We’re civilised people, we can love windmills or wheels if we want to. Even use them !!
By the way, windmills and wind turbines, totally different things

Thanks for the support guys, yes wind turbines are generally used to generate electricity for a host of purposes. Windmills as the name suggests are used to Mill things like wheat/grain to make flour amongst other things.

Sometimes the only way to look forward in time is to look back and gain useful inspiration. Every technology we use nowadays is some form of adaptation of previous inventions.

Windmills just look so lovely, I once had a photo taken of me and my partner in front of one, it fills me with joy everytime I look at it ?

Well... without the Earth, we couldn't go anywhere.

If we imagine the Earth did exist, 40,230 feet (7.5 miles) is the deepest hole ever dug on Earth. Anyone up for a world record setting dig? It took 20 years to dig 7.5 miles... so our record would be a long-term project). Once we start, there'll be no backing down.

143.6 windmills if your windmill has an average height of 280 feet. I wonder if anyone on iGP Manager has a spare 144 windmills?
