José is from Spain where windmills make people believe they're evil giants in disguise. At least that's what I read somewhere.

Very few windmills here as mostly watermills were used.

Edit: If you dig those 7.5 miles as a double hole with one being a chimney for the Earth warmth and mount the windmills on the wall they'd work.

Genius.  Why do we need fossil fuels (which are running out) when we can just use the Earth's core heat? Infinite energy.

However, if the Earth didn't exist, it wouldn't be possible.

Wind turbines take energy from air currents and convert it to electrical energy. Great idea, but a question for all you clever people out there... If we build enough of them, will the wind stop?

I respect your opinion about Windmills however I fear you are being close minded on the topic. If you spent a weekend with me visiting the best Windmills the world could offer I am sure you would fall in love with them as I have.

There's only one way to find out.
Spending way too much money and way too much time building millions of wind turbines... a complete waste of resources but it's for Science, so it's fine.

Do they though... ever noticed that the faster the turbines spin the windier it gets? and if a pig farm produces pigs then a wind farm produces wind obviously or they would call them electric farms which they don't QED.

Also, a couple of hundred years ago every village had a windmill and together they generated enough wind to power ships. As windmills became less common over the years sailing ships had to change their power source cos there wasn't enough wind to power them all.

Maybe I need to get out more........

I have to admit that is an impressive looking Windmill Gustavo posted.

What type of community manager doesn't have affection for windmills :P

Think of all the windmills we could fit into that 7.5 mile hole?

The paradox of this is that if you put a windmill in a hole it wouldn't work, unless you had a second hole to create a ventilation loop.

And Gustavo, that is a wonderful windmill

I see many of you want to revert back to 900 AD and use silly WINDMILLS? HA! You silly anprims. Wind turbines are the way of the future. Wheels have been adapted to modern use, windmills have not. Use wind turbines.

Windmills, COVID-19 and 5G conspiracy! ?? I’ve heard horrible nasty rumours that windmills are circulating COVID-19 through the world by wind and some even have 5G masts hidden in them to spread COVID-19 straight to your phone! Windmills are too nice to do that surely they wouldn’t betray us?
