Less fuel=Faster Pit. Fuel economy can help with this, as can never fueling above 45 litres, as is common practice.
Yeah that makes sense. Today however I was losing time to people who were on the same strategy as me.

Useful tip: don’t run out of fuel on the pit lane, it’ll make you lose important seconds for the race.
Sometimes managers report their pit stop had a bug, we check the lap by lap history and we discover they run out of fuel 100% of the times!
That might explain why I lost so much in todays race as I did run out for 2 of the stops. However, I normally don't do that and have around 0.2-0.4 laps of fuel left when I pit and I still lose time.
