Fix Qualifying!

Right, so apparently quali is ment to set the grid with the fastest cars at rhe front at the back anf then the slowest at the back. So today we had a guy on pole by 0.6 over p2 with his teammate last on the samd tyre. I apparently have the 2nd slowest car on SS but was in contention for the win in the last race!!!!!

Quail really needs sorting as its just so much pot luck and then DRS train form and then you are stuck at the back of them with no way through while you watch the guy you where battilijg the last race just sail of into the distance! Its actully a joke. It needs sorting as funnily enough people arent going to play the game if you know beofre lights out that you have no chance of the win when in theory you should be right up there!!!

Agreed in my league the same team has locked out the front row of the grid in 19 out of the last 21 races regardless of strategy set and according to the in game reports never had the best car at any stage but it won’t be fixed as this issue has been around for a couple of years now 

Best thing will be to wait for the delayed Q1 update that arrives apparently sometime next month to see if there is any change

Part of it might be that you can choose PL for quali

Tried that it doesn’t make any difference for me, tried different levels and got random results for my drivers over 2 separate teams 

If by PL you mean Push Levels, I’m pretty certain you can’t choose it, it’s set the same for everyone in qualifying

I meant Push levels, and yes you can change it in advanced settings.

Yes I’m aware you can change in advanced settings, I’m also referring to that when I say my personal experiences with it have done no difference between my cars on either team of mine, doesn’t matter if I have both cars on PL5 or one on PL1 and one on PL5 they both qualify the same regardless 

I don’t know then, in my league push level in qualifying it is really important 

Dillon, your advanced settings for push level is for the race only, it doesn’t affect your qualifying

^ all drivers, AFAIK, do their quali lap on PL4

I experimented to see if push levels affect qualifying and didn't see any conclusive proof of it at all 

Are practice laps run in pl4 too?
