Turn off rain effects

There should be an option to turn off the rain effects in the raceviewer, it tends to lag the game a little for me and I bet it's the same for other people.

there are people with bad intentions in the forum (ppl who vote no ?) 
the desactivation of the rain effect could have an impact on the performance of the game on the phone

It does also lag for me on PC

How would you then know it started raining or stopped raining during race?

He is suggesting for full wet races, and the icon in the top right

How do you know beforehand it’s a full wet race if it’s based on real time weather? One only knows it’s a full wet race once it’s finished, no?


Yeah the icon in the top right, you would have to watch it all the time. Just turn on weather effects and you see the weather changing, isn’t that the simple solution?

I would suggest reducing the load of the weather effect on gamespeed, not turning weather effects off

Is this not a 3D viewer bug, then should you not put this problem in that thread?  

Also, I like the water effects, in general.  Makes it look more real.

I voted yes, only on the condition that it will be in the graphics settings

I would say, post it in there, all the same...

No issues here. Could be specific to a type/model of device. Would be weird looking at a bone dry track when it should be raining.
