Are you seeing a Black or Grey screen in the viewer?

Is there anything else can we do?  Have Admin rights.  Reinstalled Java and rebooted PC.  Will not load in Chrome or IE.  I probably have a group policy on my work PC stopping this from working but up until today it was generally a 40% chance it could work withouth a reinstall of java.  Playing the game since early in the year.  I'm hating java.

I can load the Live timing screen but without knowing what the tyres are doing I have no idea if I could better things in the race.

So, what do we do if we have the right Java version, neither of the views work, only the "Timing Only" option, and clicking the Java multiple version checker insists I must first install Java 8?

I joined yesterday - uninstalled Java 8 and installed Java 7U71. Everything was working fine (timing, data and 2d views). Today I can only get the timing view. My car will run out of fuel in a few minutes and I cant do anything. Both the data and 2d viewers get stuck when "connecting".

The race has now finished so I wont know if its working - I cleared all temp files in Java - so I hope that works. Strange that it was working fine just yesterday. I have a race in 1hr on another account so I will keep you posted. Great game by the way! - although the league systems needs a re-design but I read that you are fixing that. 

2d viewer is now  working on my 2nd account. Hopefully it was a problem caused by the temp files as you mentioned - and not some problem specific to my other (main) account. thnx for your help

I've only just noticed this:
"Limited number of free viewer slots are available at each race."

Considering the race was full (and on the 2nd account I had only 2 opponents) I am assuming that was the problem. But shouldn't the data viewer still be available?

Its me again, unfotunately - I just changed my picture. Its not working on my 1st account again (both data and 2d stuck on connecting........). It must be something specific to this account. Its a new account and yesterday was the first race ever on the account, so it has never worked. Any ideas?

Java loads ok ... then I get the igpracing logo with grey background and the word "connecting...." in the middle of the screen - then it just stays stuck on that. Reloaded the Java box 6 or 7  times and still gets stuck on connecting.

I don t know about you guys but this Java novel is really frustrating, after 4 races haven´t still been able to view a single race in 2D, have tried several suggestions I have seen in the forum with no luck...there is no way I will subscribe to have this feature if I don t even know how it looks really, has there been any updates since the last posts about this subject? I mean it´s a shame a cool game like this has such a downside...

I have tried both version 8 and 7 upd 75, one at a time removing previous installation but couldn't get any results with any of them, have also tried a few tweaks myself like the browser setting or anything I could recall but still...(am using Windows 8.1).

Problem is there is no way to see if it works up until the race is on which makes it very difficult to try to see what the problem may be.

I really want to stick around as I do like this game but "blindfolded" it gets a bit frustrating.

Hi Jack sorry the problem is explaining the problem. I use Java 8 u31, Internet Explorer version 11.0.15, my computer is 64bit windows 8.1. I have installed both 32 bit and 64 bit Java 8 that lots of people forget to do for 64bit computers.
yes it works but some sort of situation in Java8 prevents you from resizing viewer at start up or clicking and dragging anything away from the centre of the screen. Repositioning the likes of chat, weather and strategy boxes, if you try to move them it will crash & will flag unknown source in java8. Its just a matter of refreshing the page with F5 if it freezes up.
I only noticed there now put cliché instead of situation. auto correct needs to changed on this computer lol
