Auction bid not going in at last second

What did you try to do?
I was bidding for a talent level 20 driver, which is very hard to come by, and when I was doing the bidding, I was trying to get my bid in as late as possible

What happened instead?
When I put my bid in at exactly 00:00 left on the clock, the bid was processing, but did not go in and I lost the auction and the opportunity to get a talent level 20 driver, which is crucial to aid in my title fight in the league I’m in.

Can the bug be reproduced?
Can be reproduced, but it seems that the timing has to be very precise in order for the bid button to be pressed, but the actual bid to not make it in time.

Probably just slow connection, the apps interface responding before the servers have processed the info.

00:00 sounds just late. 
00:01 on the other hand... Now that sounds as late as possible.

I once experimented doing at 00:00, and it apparently worked (after the issue happened)

Edit: the picture below shows that the bid was in fact processing when it transitioned into the next round

Edit 2: I was using the same wifi network which had a internet speed of about 300mbps
