EA Sports F1 Manger 2000

Just started playing this today for the first time in years.

Got off to a great start. NOT! lol
Blown Engine for Pedro Diniz & Driver Error for Jean Alesi



It's a single player offline game for the PC
Yes it is very old but still lots of fun you can even do you're own updating if you really want to.

By editing the text files using notepad on the computer you can:
Re-name teams.
Change drivers names & Stats.
Edit Engines names & Stats.
Edit all the other components stats.

You can even edit the .TGA Car liveries using Paint.net
But the sponsors you sign in the game will no longer show on the car nor will they change colours of car after you put in you're own car liveries.

It's good game to help pass the time :)

Great game, but i prefer Grand Prix World from Micropose.

F1GP of Microprose is a grat game... but the EA Sports F1 Manger 2000 seems managerial game....  

There is other  old "Grand Prix Manager" but seems have a type of software lock and i could not do good results.

Grand Prix Manager 2 has lots more managerial options on offer in the game likes of fuel and tyres are in it.

But the Ea Sports game would be more user friendly with it's layout, car setups and race strategies.
Plus the game is a lot easier to edit & update, The hardest part is trying to add new tracks I don't know anything about game coding but with this game being so easy to edit it's a good place to learn some stuff :)

EA Sports has denied any knowledge of ever making this game so if they want to take to court for giving their game away they can do so :D

In this game you can design you're own car right?

Chassis you design is for the next season, only F/R wings, Sidepods, Bargeboards, Suspension & Diffuser can be upgraded none-stop

If you fail to have next seasons chassis ready before the end of the season you will get fired.
If you fail to reach the end of season objective you will get fired.

The why it works the longer you stay at the team the better & better you car gets

I actually BOUGHT and OWN the game... years ago obviously.... But do you think I can find it?? I did find cm00/01 thought :P

lol you can easily update drivers cars engines and things but I found editing date & track list causes it to crash at end of season
