Hi, I wanted to know if these two things affect the actual speed of the rider. There is hardly any info on the web.
-Talent: Is a driver with talent 24, for example, faster than a driver with talent 20? It used to be that having more talent was synonymous with being better but now I don't know if this is the case.
-Attributes and colours: Does blue for an attribute (qualifying, overtaking, rainy weather, street circuits...) mean it has less impact than orange (rare) or purple (legendary)?
Thank you.

Hi.
Yes I believe Talent does still matter.
Blue (Common) is less than orange (rare) and purple (Legendary)

Can't find anywhere that this is truly explained. Since the last update there is genuine concern in our league that if you don't have a level 29 driver that you cannot compete. One manager has just posted his dismay about this and I would like to copy and paste the difinitive conclusion on this for him but where is it?

Hi Malcolm. I’m not sure I understand the question fully. But in the announcement for the new levels update there is a section on drivers which may be useful:

If you can expand on your question please I’ll try and provide additional information if possible.

Thanks for your reply. It's drivers levels that is the concern. It says somewhere I believe that this cannot change no matter what. It would useful then to know just how significant this value is to performance and how precisely it does it.

The driver level is a representation of the drivers overall ability. I believe it is taken by taking an average of all the other stats. I would say it is an indicator of a drivers overall ability.
However, to take an extreme example I’m pretty certain that a level 20 talent 30 driver trained properly would be faster than a level 25 talent 1 driver. I don’t think that there is any formal post that will explain this but I’ll have a look around and if I find anything I’ll add it to the bottom of this post.
